Thanks my Oga for this, I'm humbled.

When I read thru some of the views, what I saw from the contributors was simply to make you better and critically analyse a stock objectively like you said.

Boss, this small me have had course to argue with the likes of Pa Emma 😁 in some stocks when I consider it good to go.........which may not even be about numbers but some other factors not connected with financials ........the financials may even still be nowhere near the gurus expectations self (e.g. Geregu when listed). 😁

@Currentprice will say, he doesn't mind joining a stock when the bus has started moving only when he's convinced and bedsheet starts flagging it

You can still follow what works for you since you're a long termer......just saying you should also consider other views as well, may not even be about yourself alone, but to be able to advice someone else with a balanced view as well.....like Doc said.

nobody can timing the market but some time little patient catch big fish., I learned to patiently waiting to see price at my TA entry level or close to after carefully analyse and okay with the numbers in my bedsheet but in a situation where price fail to reach my entry levels and move awa...y breakout upward to the levels of no returns, I will not look back to what I have miss rather than joining the bus.

DS, currentprice is around 41, the FA appears okay for the price, am i going to enter @ cp? No... because my TA entry price is around 32/33.... but if it fail to reach the levels due to sudden positive news and price start rising then my TA okay to join @ a breakout of N61 cheesy... i will still make my own gain grin

I made a post on interbrew that it was not a buy stock...some sweet mouthing abi monkey hunting the stock with big big grammar grin, today the stock still trading at N4.... I still maintain I can buy the stock above N20 when the sign show.

patience is the key

They can not even trade for now until the suspension is lifted.
I thought that by now their price would drop to like 1 naira following their inability to present an audited account for 2023.

The Microfinance Bank seems well managed, it's like their cooperative arm and consistent with dividend payment.
The bank is not supposed to be trading that low in market, the price shouldn't be in 2 region ordinarily talkless of staying below 2.
I think the current delay in filing of AFS has been a factor in the decline of the share price......because the unaudited looks pretty good.
As soon as result is filed, the suspension will be lifted.

Well I never like the stock because of the name it bears but the shareholding structure is very good. The price didn't fall much because of its free float.

When a stock begins to lack good corporate governance,it's a red flag. They need to be fast in releasing those results but believe me the results will be bad

I expect more factual reasons than presumptions.
On what premise is this assumption made?
So, inability to file result before stipulated time should make the price to keep falling uncontrollably to you?
- NPF is presently trading at 52wks low @1.60
Maybe you're looking to enter at a ridiculous price sha. tongue

** Some of these companies notified NGX about delay in filing their results, siting reasons for the delay, if the reasons are genuine, why didn't NGX consider it and give them warnings to adhere to new dates?

Notification of Suspension of Eight (cool Listed Companies

Dear Valued Investors,

We wish to inform you that the companies listed below have been suspended from trading in their shares by the Nigerian Exchange Limited(NGX) effective today, Monday,8th July 2024.

This action was taken due to the failure of these companies to file their Audited Financial Statement for the year ended 31st, December 2023 within the stipulated time frame.
C & I Leasing PLC. (CILEASING)
Guinea Insurance PLC. (GUINEAINS)
Lasaco Assurance PLC.(LASACO)
Mutual Benefits Assurance PLC. (MBENEFIT)
NPF Microfinance Bank PLC. (NPFMCRFBK)
Regency Alliance Insurance PLC. (REGALINS)
Secure Electronic Technology PLC. (NSLTECH)
Unity Bank PLC. (UNITYBNK)

The suspension will be lifted upon the submission of the relevant financial statements by these companies.

We will keep you updated as more information is available

How many stocks come remain to trade after suspending this huge number. I think NSE needs to change and adopt a more relaxed punitive measure for such pedantic issues by placing penalty on any erring companies instead of suspension. My take.

Royalex unaudited 2023 was good but the audited landed the stock in a loss. The stock is receiving patronage because there is a renewed interests and growing optimisms.

The activities and restructuring going on in the company shows those foreign investors are not here to play. Those mopping it are not buying the result but inherent value. When the value shows, the financials will also show.

If there is no improvement this time,Royalex would have join these insurance stocks in technical suspension as usual.

NPF may have good unaudited 2023 .
Why are they delaying the good result till now if there is no red flag from the auditors?

On the bolded, you are correct. I like to buy things @ all time low.
On your last paragraph, don't forget that they did the same thing last year and SEC considered them.

Is it possible for one to trade his Access (or any of the other banks) Rights on the floor of the Nig Stock Exch. and get some money for it?
Instead of taking them up during the Rights Issue.
If possible, How does one go about this?

I have been watching them for a while. I particularly like their free-float and their dividend history. Moreover they are the only bank that has not been repriced since the tinubu era. It would have drop to 1.3 if not for SECs intervention.
When the suspension is lifted I will wait for it at 1.4.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Locotrader(m): 10:31am On Jul 09
Veritas kapital riding to #2
Royalex values more than veritas.
With time,there will be corrections.
I will not be surprised to see 200% value from today's price self.

Time is just a number.
Wait for it.it must come

This might not be the right place, please bear with me.

Can anyone please explain different between the shares we bought on NSE and the right issue share some banks are advertising now. I have an idea of the stock shares but not the other one.

Thank you.

SEC really tried for UNITY BANK... It's now upto the management to bring out a good tale that will help move it to eldorado before or after they most have release their financials

No lele... The shares we buy on the NSE is the already existing shares of the company that the shareholders are selling between themselves while the right issues are new share created by the companies to sell to already their already existing shareholders.
