Excuse me! Why would you think such a thing unless you want to be selfish?

Apart from the fact their dead body will polute the communal water, the reason they jump off the bridge might be one that affects one too, or that one can unselfishly resolve for others if one can and wants to, and that's worth being concerned about, I'd think.
Who says that selfishness is bad and unselfishness is good? Why can't I be selfish?

I'll tell you what, perhaps send me what you enjoy so I can enjoy it too, and after, I might tell you why I enjoyed it if I enjoyed it.

List here the things you enjoy please so I can arrange for delivery.

What is the essence of enjoying what I enjoy.....and why should others not be allowed to carry out armed robbery which they also enjoy doing?

Since you call it "what I enjoy", it is for you to know the essence of you enjoying what you enjoy and tell us so we may know why you enjoy what you enjoy.

We are after all not mind readers who can tell you why you enjoy what you enjoy.

Michael547:

Are you suggesting that an armed robber should enjoy at the expense of those they arm rob?

You sell cars. Should I be allowed to arm rob you, which might include killing you in the process, and enjoy the cars I rob from you?

If so, kindly tell me where you store your cars so I can rob you. I'd appreciate if you first service the cars so I can really enjoy them, and please leave the keys in the ignition so I don't need to rob you of your life too so that you can tell us if you enjoyed being robbed by me and should be allowed to rob you in future or not, because I will return to rob you again if you enjoyed being robbed

Ten cars please. I will be coming to rob you with my 10 cousins.

Of course others have the right to their own opinion!

I'm in fact currently trying to convince Bemeruca of this very same fact, but he thinks he must tell LGBT not to LGBT as if they are LGBTing up his ass!

Thanks for agreeing.....so whether a person is selfish or not is actually a personal decision. We can't force others to accept that been selfish is bad or been unselfish is actually good. Do you agree?

Why are you lying? Someone expresses his opinion and people of a certain religion tries to beat or kill him. He was arrested for expressing his opinion, budaatum calls him an ass hole for expressing his opinion and never said anything about those who tried to beat or kill him till far in the discussion when he cannot be silent about what they tried to do

No, you can't force anyone to be selfish or unselfish. Its their fish, and they can choose how and to whom they sell their fish.

The same does not apply to me robbing you however, as most societies have decided robbing others is a crime for which there is a penalty.

Do note though that most societies have decided to take some of your fish and sell it however they want in the form of tax for the unselfish common good. But you can always mitigate this by getting a really good accountant or going to live on a remote island by your selfish self where the tax man can't get at your fish.

So who has the right to decide in human society that armed robbery is bad?
Re: The Afterlife- Fact Or Fallacy? by budaatum: 6:17pm On Jul 09
Michael547:

Society has the right to decide in human society if armed robbery (and LGBT, and Muslim immigrants and Bemeruca) is good or bad for their society.

And anyone who disagrees can sit in their homes and not agree with society, or campaign to change the society or go out there and disagree with society and get labelled asshǒles and or be arrested for not confirming to the collective wish of the society.

The people who live in the society. And usually, the majority as democratically determined, unless we are talking about societies that are not democratic, in which case, their leaders decide for society.

For minority armed robbery? I guess they should be jailed, since they are illegally taking something from others by force, and society has decreed this unacceptable, though you haven't yet agreed this to be the case. Send me details where I can rob you so the society of the 2 of us can decide please.

For minority LGBT, and Muslims in UK? Hopefully, the majority will be informed by their knowledge and experience and history and willingness to learn to be accepting of diversity and not oppress the few. But if they don't, I guess you'd have antilgbt and tribal and religious bigotry until we are taught and have learnt not to oppress minorities like we do in Nigeria.

Lol....you believe they should be jailed because the majority do not agree with them? Who gave the majority such rights to impose their opinions on the minority?
