...the person you are trying to defend is also guilty of what you are accusing @iHaveMadeiT2 for. Saying that a company is dead due to the founder's demise, without any data/information to back the claim up is like a wish, which @iHaveMadeiT2 is trying to pray not to come to pass.
grin grin grin grin grin
Thanks boss.
Wanted to reply too.........but can't search for my previous post on it for now.
Can remember mentioning something about this BOI and the positive development with OMATEK.

So, demise of a founder automatically translates to dead of such company?
Even when the son of the deceased woman is still alive and has since taking over the affairs of the company........also making efforts to resuscitate it?
Guess s/he needed to get his/her facts straight and right before jumping to conclusions.

Congrats to folks who boarded Oando when I revealed it
Even @ 200%+ since unveiled. the journey is just beginning
For as was revealed, the 400% mark will surely be crossed
Enough said.

Hi Prophet, although I share in some of your optimism, I don't think Oando has achieved 200%+ since when you first made the prediction.
You may correct me if I am wrong

How does one go about trading one's Rights on the NSE?
Anyone who has done so in the past should kindly guide me.

Contacting my stockbrokers (CSL) but no feedback from them yet.

The staff that spoke with me said he has to consult his superiors if that is possible.

Lol will people buy rights sha when it is selling below right value in the market? Maybe if they can succeed in pushing it above the rights value

Check my earlier posts.
Not just Oando, everything that were revealed have been fulfilled

Yet, Oando is even beginning its journey and will move beyond the 400% revelation
And, the naysayers will gnash their teeth in the fullness of time
Make dem dey argue as we dey fly!

Meanwhile, soon and very soon
I will reveal another big one
And folks will be astonished as it flies off!

TECHNICALLY OMATEK IS A BUY
If the week ends like this or better, the stock would have shown strength OR at worst, the stock price dip to 0.60 OMATEK remains a BUY!

@ProphetUtuocha, you don't need to abuse people here. It's not necessary everybody align with your ideology; that's the beauty of the stock market. If you want to share, share & people will commend you and if you want to keep it to yourself, I don't think anyone is forcing it out from you - KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!

What insolence!
It's utterly disrespectful to use that last line.

Need I remind you that I've been on both ends as a sell and buy side analyst on OANDO. (called for a sell @ N41+ and reissued a buy @ N4)
Not sure you've even managed to get your imaginary title of "a prophet" then, so don't think yourself a "semi-god".

Even the so-called coy you plan to reveal may likely not be new to some folks. Would you know if some persons are already aware of it and even more? wink cool

https://nairametrics.com/2024/07/10/access-holdings-explains-why-its-issued-shares-price-is-higher-than-market-price/

Aig-Imoukhuede noted, "There are certain things I look at when investing in a business or considering an investment. When evaluating a business, if the business’s annual earnings run rate matches the amount I invested, I consider it a strong indicator.”
"Currently, the analysis shows a potential earnings value of about 17 naira per share, with a trading price of around 19.75 naira per share. This is not a bank that needs further reinvestment to make that money, meaning it won’t seek additional capital that could dilute its earnings.”

This is broadly in line with my assertion. (see parts in bold.... think through the connection)

That said, Mr AIG should've also told us that a key reason for the price disparity between the RI offer and market peg is the intent to create weak apathy on existing shareholders.
As I said before; they don't necessarily need our money hence the "discouraging atmosphere" or lack of incentive to exercise one's rights.
...the probability that the group already has the required RI funds on standby is approximately 1.
I expect the RI exercise to be fully subscribed.

Needless to highlight that ACCESSCORP's FVE currently sits in the range of N34.25--N39.7, with the lower band of that price an extremely conservative estimate after raking-off what could be risk items to the bank's earnings stance (currency risk, minor dilution risk from the rights exercise and WC risk in view of her aggressive expansion drive) and assuming just 10% QoQ GM down to YE, 2024.
....*U*... HOLD!

Technically, price has since moved from our initial call @ N17.25... riding to near N20 before retracing backwards. The aim is to complete the effective breakout from what was previously a P/KRL to a demand zone.
Though price is yet to touch our swing target of N21, the chat is now better "shaped". ...I like what I see! wink cheesy cool

CAVEAT: Still NOT an investment advice. ...the need for due diligence should still take higher precedence ahead of this post.
I beg to disagree on something. Any company who comes for right issue or public offer needs your money...leave that thing. The man can say anything afterall the shareholders have few ways to gain from thr investment unlike hime who is holding the knife and yam

Please o, I didn’t say it’s dead because the founder is dead. The founder was a very intelligent woman. But even when she was alive, the company had serious debt issues which they are struggling with now. I ignored the “not God” comment cause I’ve decided not to be emotional again on this thread. After all, it’s not my money they are using to trade.

I’m happy he did DD and saw that they have lost assets. Thank me later.

I don't think bovali is wrong to say that the company is dead, and that is not because the owner is no more.
Looking at the company financials, the fundamentally inclined analyst will most likely agree with her on the viability of the company.
That is not rulling out the possibility of resuscitation and the possibility of people making money by trading the company shares. After all people have been making money trading dead companies for ages.

The banks were forced by the CBN to undertake these rights issues. They actually had sufficient funds to build their safety net, but the CBN insisted that money from exchange gains and certain other sources would not be accepted. We all witnessed the drama as it unfolded.

Do you think the banks are happy about being forced to dilute their shares?

The use of the term "necessarily" doesn't mean they DON'T want or won't be needing your money if you offered it. It simply means they can DO WITHOUT IT.
Put differently, the success of the rights is not dependent on whether you decide to take up your rights or not

Of course they will accept your money if you offered it. Afterall it's a RI exercise, so they are obligated to offer it to you as an existing shareholder.
There's a difference between WANT and NEED, even more so when there's an absence of the word urgency between them.

I recall Prophet saying that before end of 2024, Oando would make 400% on the price in January 2024. Oando was averagely about N10 in January 2024. The last time Oando was N5 was somewhere in 2023, if I am not mistaken.
So what is the base period for the prediction of growth in price? Year 2023 or January 2024?
And how could N17.5 be 200%+ gain on N10?
I share and appreciate Prophet's optimism about Oando, but the calculation is no jelling for me.

Well for Omatek the loss has been reducing substantially over time and I think the last EPS I saw was -0.004 kobo or so.
