Chuckwu Ndukwe was doing well with his South African club prior to 2000 AFCON and he justified his inclusion with a beautiful goal in the final against Cameroon. Iyenemi only had 5 caps for super eagles with AFCON medal..I won't tag him worst cb ever
Ndukwe squandered a lot of chances against Cameroon before scoring

Saying beating Canada team would be difficult is understatement but reality cuz what we have now are players without strong mentalities, yes we have them in Europe doing well
That's not what I'm saying here elder. That they tore apart Uruguay's defence doesn't mean they would do the same to us. Football is not maths.

SCORENigeria can again report exclusively that former England coach Steve McClaren has been shortlisted for consideration as the new coach of the Super Eagles.

We first reported that former Cote d’Ivoire and Zambia AFCON-winning coach Herve Renard is one of three foreign coaches listed by the NFF technical committee for the vacant Super Eagles post.

McClaren, who held sway as coach of the Three Lions of England between 2006 and 2007, has also made the shortlist to the NFF executive committee.

He was the trusted assistant to Sir Alex Ferguson when Manchester United clinched a historic treble in England.

The 63-year-old McClaren coached Premier League clubs Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest as well as led Twente to their first-ever Dutch championship in 2010.

Officials told SCORENigeria that the Manchester United assistant coach is interested in leading the Super Eagles.

This followed initial talks with top Nigerian officials.

Despite the long history between Britain and Nigeria as well as the popularity of the Premier League in Nigeria, an English coach has not handled the Super Eagles in recent years.

Former England captain Bryan Robson came close to heading the Super Eagles, but eventually this did not come to be.

Experienced coach. The problem is the salary because he is present Assistant to Ten Hag at Manchester United.

Felix Uduokhai will not be transferred to Beşiktaş. The German defender received a good offer but gave up on the deal.

Spain winning this 3 nil. Although I want England to win. This will be one of Spain's easiest game. The English team is not good. They've been lucky with opponents.

This Spanish side is tactically different from the trophy winning sides - commentator

Only TheGoodJoe still sees tiki taka in this Spanish side. So doctrinaire in thinking. Even common eye test tells one that they aren't playing tiki taka.

Spain are lounging the ball forward from deep in their half. Tiki taka forbids this.

Is not looking easy but Spain is capable of winning.
Harry Kane is the only reason I would have wanted England to win,I only feel for him but I still want Spain to win

Surprisingly England looks more dangerous going forward. Spain looks clueless! Just pass to the average Williams and inshallah!

Williams need to release the ball early instead of always trying to dribble and lose the ball.

Typical final - cagey, careful, restrained.

That's why the final of Qatar 2022 remains the greatest final ever. It was a spectacle. End to end stuff.

I have been waiting for weeks. Tell me the difference. Are you saying Valdes never lounged ball from deep? Off the top, I remember a Mallorca vs Barca game that Valdes did this. So tell me what is the difference. Use your eye test and tell me the difference.
