Cargo ship feared sunk off Cape west coast as storms lash province
A total 18 crew members rescued but fate of vessel unclear as SA Maritime Safety Authority raises concern about pollution

Concern is mounting over the fate of an abandoned cargo ship last seen adrift about 60 nautical miles from Doringbaai on the Cape west coast.

The 18-member Filipino crew of the 124m Ultra Galaxy abandoned the listing vessel on Monday in rough sea conditions. The SA Maritime Safety Authority (Samsa) was trying to locate the ship on Tuesday.
The National Sea Rescue Institute said it had been alerted to the incident and was standing by to assist.

The Panama-registered Ultra Galaxy has a gross tonnage of 10,021.

UPDATE: Maritime safety officials are in a race against time to stop a listing 124m-long cargo vessel running aground on the Cape west coast.

Salvage operations are under way to try to prevent the Panama-registered general cargo vessel MV Ultra Galaxy drifting towards shore near Brand se Baai, according to the SA Maritime Safety Authority (Samsa).

“The vessel is drifting towards shore and the situation is being closely monitored,” said Samsa.

Two tugs were deployed to try to salvage the stricken vessel.

The ship was on its way to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. There are concerns it may sink before salvors can tow it to safety. Samsa has warned of a potential pollution risk as the nature of the cargo remains unclear.

“With the crew safely rescued all efforts are fully focused on salvaging the vessel,” it said.

The performance of the women in Trump's protection detail were sub-par.

They were short, the lady in the picture below couldn't holster her weapon, tried 3 times and failed.

They looked confused, seemed mostly tensed and were concerned about sunglasses.

Cooks, 20, was on the roof of a manufacturing plant over 130 yards away from Trump’s rally at Butler Farm Show grounds on Saturday when he took fire at the former president — grazing Trump’s ear and killing one rally attendee.

Immediately after the began shooting, Secret Service snipers took the 20-year-old out. He was found with an AR-style semi-automatic assault rifle and was wearing a shirt for a popular gun YouTube channel, Demolition Ranch.

Authorities have identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, as the suspect in the shooting incident at a rally for former President Donald Trump. Bethel Park is approximately 40 miles south of the rally location in Butler, PA.

The incident occurred during a packed rally when Crooks allegedly opened fire. An AR-15 was reportedly recovered at the scene. The suspect was shot in the head after attempting to take out the former president.

The fact that the guy was just 200 meters away from the president in an open rooftop show how incompetent the security agent are.

The guy couldn’t get his hand on sniper rifle, if now it would have been a different story. Using an assault rifle no wonder the multiple shot.

But i must say the security agents did not act well. Before trump left the scene he was still exposed, and not much of secret service went to protect him only few.

Biden thus planned to fire up his base by forcing Israel to agree a ceasefire before November. This will put him ahead in the polls and boost his chances of winning.

Israel however wants to occupy Gaza for a much longer time. IDF has openly stated that they will likely stay five years. Israel will be desperate to have Trump in power in order to guarantee support for at least four years. They will be ready to do anything to achieve that. If Biden restricts military aid to Israel and wins the election. Israel will have no other option than to stop the war.

Israel is good at these things. And countries at war do desperate things. e.g. Ukraine (Another conspiracy for another day). Israel could have orchestrated this to boost Trump's chances. The details of how it might have been planned IDK. It's just my theory. A reasonable one.
