Some of us rocked our childhood in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Good old days, sweet memories. Days of Ten Ten. Days where we treated ourselves like family 👪 Days of licking ice cream tied in polythene bag. No Fast Food. Agidi jollof with enough biscuit bone 😋

Days of No bottled water, but nylon water instead 😆
To even drink water from tap dey sweet pass
We enjoyed trekking to school in groups 😀
Licking baba dudu while gisting on the road

We had no fear, only injections scared us the most at that time. We dare not disrespect our elders,ah hot slap await us
No mobile phones. Riding our tyres and playing under the rain to the rescue .The fear of turning into Yam as told by our parents would not allow us to collect anything from strangers

We would read lots of interesting books
Like Edet lives in Calabar, the gods are not to blame,Eze goes to school etc. Our books then was published by ONWARD

We had our own definition of ONWARD BIG EXERCISE (Olo Na Witch After Reading Devil Bible In Ghana, Eze times Eze, Rice Costumer Is Selling Eba) Wow,I enjoyed my childhood days

And for the ladies especially my dear momma and sisters back then, Saturday night powder is a must-have hand bag acessory. I still remember with nostalgic feeling when the blue band margarine is one of the most relished item on the breakfast table. Those good old days wherein our parents provide us some bits of luxury without sweat or pain.

There are certain things, which you need not think about anymore in this country so that you won't go crazy! Why did they allow all of this to crumble on their watch in the first place? I always pity the present generation. Hummmn

No more quality milk in this useless country called Nigeria. I remember this carnation milk in the 80s. Not the watery Peak milk and the rest that we have now. You can still find carnations milk in the UK.

I also remember a tea called Bongo. You can feel the aroma from 200km away. Not these less quality Lipton and top tea.

Those European countries producing quality items left Nigeria long ago and never looked back.

Dunlop left.
Micheline tyes left and many more
Unilever is shaking body already

It shall never be well with corrupt politicians and the military that brought this mess upon this nation.

Nigeria is cursed

I regret not taking a lot of photos back then.

Color photos were expensive for me.
I lost all the photos I uploaded on Facebook around 2011. Facebook banned the account because I was adding too much friends.

I saved some on Eskimi.com. they have sold the site
I regret it .

Today I save pictures everywhere, iCloud, Nairaland, Facebook, drive, terabox

Memories by Maroon 5
Here's to the ones that we got
Cheers to the wish you were here, but you're not
'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories
Of everything we've been through
Toast to the ones here today
Toast to the ones that we lost on the way
'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories
And the memories bring back, memories bring back you

Good old days. Interesting how there was less division among the people. I grew up in Festac and everybody was friends with everybody.

I remember anytime we want to deworm. Na that sugar you go first swallow and the melting no go finish before you chew the rest and now use the deworm drug.

The only brand in the world that doesn't run adverts, yet is marketable everywhere.

It is still very much available
