Out of 46M, just 300,000 blacks mostly from immigration who are still sidelined economically. Go and read books and stop displaying bold ignorance

Thank you for your responseā€”I really appreciate it.

Please note that every human being is guilty of distorting the facts. A lot of historians have given a distorted picture of what happened to the black community in Argentina from the end of the 19th century.

There is black community in Argentina. My point is, it's not possible to physically eliminate or totally wipe off the black community in Argentina. Presently, the government of Argentina is trying to subdue the black community symbolically, to create a discourse that there are no blacks in Argentina.

I just hate it when black people always cry around racism unnecessarily.....

Same thing the Argentine players sang about, is what we usually say at viewing centres.

I still can't understand how racist that is

^^^
The history is the key. The history is the key!

You may be a Chelsea, Kano Pillars, Barcelona, Eyinmba, Botafogo, Dortmund, PSG, Al Hilal etc. supporter who trolls opposing fans at the viewing centre. Its fun and everyone mocks everyone else over drinks and suya and you all go home after the match. You did not enslave or exterminate the ancestors of any of the other teams players, did you? There is no dark, evil history in your viewing centre. That is the difference.

Granted that these days, some people do cry racism where it doesn't exist. But that doesn't take away the fact that racism (in and outside sport) does exist. It always has and perhaps always will.

If we say "wokeism" is the problem today and these issues are being 'blown out of proportion' then all we need to do is again, look at the history. Pele (and other sportsmen/sportswomen of colour) played and competed at a time when there was no wokeism of any sort and they all had terrible experiences. Over twenty years ago I read an article by Pele in which he reminisced about being childhood friends with a little blonde girl at primary school - only for the girl's father to publicly and harshly rebuke her for wasting her future by playing with 'o neguinhos'. undecided Things got worse for him as he grew older, despite fnding fame and fortune on the football pitch. He gave a few interviews about this before he passed away.

As you can see, the issues are very complex.

Is the song really racist? Isnstit what we Africans say too, that France has more black players than white?

Singing racist chants like that is just not acceptable, especially in today's world where diversity and respect should be celebrated.

Argentina National team under fire for singing racist chants which claims French players "are all from Angola" and ā€œtheir mother is Nigerian" and that they ā€˜f**k transgender peopleā€™

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pIGnyfBLNM

The Argentina national team is under fire for singing r@c!st chants about French footballers while celebrating their Copa America win.

Argentina defeated Colombia 1-0 at Hard Rock Stadium to retain their Copa America crown on Sunday night, July 14.

Before Argentina won that trophy, Argentine fans were filmed singing about how Franceā€™s players were ā€˜all from Angola,ā€™ and how ā€˜they f*** transvestites like f***ing Mbappeā€™ (an apparent reference to the starā€™s previously reported romance with transgender model, Ines Rau).

After the match, Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez posted a video of himself and his Argentine teammate celebrating and singing the r@c!st chants on the team bus in the wake of their Copa AmƩrica victory.

The offensive and r@c!st chant mocked the African origins of black players within the French squad, including captain Kylian MbappƩ.

The vulgar chant includes lyrics such as: ā€œThey play for France but come from Angolaā€ and ā€œTheir mother is Nigerian, their father is Cambodian but on their passport: France.ā€

Fans on social media slammed Argentina for singing the song.

ā€˜Argentinians are disgusting,ā€™ one wrote.

ā€˜Useless footballer. Useless human being,ā€™ one said of Fernandez.

ā€˜Somebody tell me this is a joke,ā€™ another said.

#wetindeyhappentv

This song is more-or-less a spite on Mbappe, just to make Messi happy.

And now, it was sang in an event that has absolutely nothing to do with Mbappe and France.

And other teammates joined to sing.
Even when they have nothing against Mbappe or France.

this isnt racist song tho, its a bitter pill, if African countries are doing great, we wont have these large population of black players living their original country to represent another, isnt that advance slavery.
truth be told we are technically enslaved in africa, no thanks to our leaders

Argentines are hardcore racists... the only country in the whole of south america that dont have a single black player ... infact in the whole of the Americas , but north and south .... No black player could command a shirt in barca when Messi was captain... infact he made sure Eric abidal ,( first black sporting director of football for barca )was sacked , after Messi disrespected him in the media ... all the fools celebrating Argentina because of their love for messi... pls try to step foot in Buenos Aires and u will think that u are indeed an animal ... Argentina is the worst country on earth when it comes to racism and Antisemitism.... they were the only country that gave the Nazis asylum after WW2 and there are speculations that Hitler never committed suicide ...he was smuggled to Argentina were he died a natural death , alongside his top generals ... most people don't know history
being racist doesnā€™t take away the beautiful play from Messi. We love Messi because of how he plays not the color of his skin. Even the French that use black players are also racist. Why should anyone get angry he is called a black person. Are you not black, accept who you are. Do you expect a white man to get angry if they are called white monkeys?

Brazil is very different and better. They are more integrated than Argentina.

ekitimanalways:

There are still black Argentines. Today there are 302,936 black Argentines.

The extermination of the black people in Argentina, an inaccurate reason... If that was the case, the black population in Brazil would also disappear, given their (the black community) miserable situation in Brazil. So basically what defined the mostly white population in Argentina was the economy during the colonial era.

Hhmmā€¦ They are not lying? How many French players have Nigerian mothers? If Iā€™m not mistaking, your point here is that the players are truly of African decent. But then you forget those guys chanting that absurdity are originally from Spain themselves. Should we also make a song about them suggesting their mothers are from Malta and their fathers English (similar to the way they just picked random countries from Africa)? How many generations before Africans in France become French? Or maybe Africans can never be Europeans, but Europeans can be from South America, North America and even Africa? Thatā€™d be odd considering the fact that you donā€™t see any racism here.

Write this note to your leaders that are oppressing and their int'l cohorts. They sell guys daily.

What is federal character?
What us quota system?
What is catchment area?
Are they not decriminalization and segregation against tribes ?
Blame blacks for these racial woes , let black nations build their nations to enviable status in the world.

We are the lowest of all races, the poorest, the most hopeless and the weakest of all - we don't even have any black country with nuclear power.
