JimD: Thank you for your responseāI really appreciate it. Please note that every human being is guilty of distorting the facts. A lot of historians have given a distorted picture of what happened to the black community in Argentina from the end of the 19th century. There is black community in Argentina. My point is, it's not possible to physically eliminate or totally wipe off the black community in Argentina. Presently, the government of Argentina is trying to subdue the black community symbolically, to create a discourse that there are no blacks in Argentina. |

Honchoslim16: ^^^ The history is the key. The history is the key! You may be a Chelsea, Kano Pillars, Barcelona, Eyinmba, Botafogo, Dortmund, PSG, Al Hilal etc. supporter who trolls opposing fans at the viewing centre. Its fun and everyone mocks everyone else over drinks and suya and you all go home after the match. You did not enslave or exterminate the ancestors of any of the other teams players, did you? There is no dark, evil history in your viewing centre. That is the difference. Granted that these days, some people do cry racism where it doesn't exist. But that doesn't take away the fact that racism (in and outside sport) does exist. It always has and perhaps always will. If we say "wokeism" is the problem today and these issues are being 'blown out of proportion' then all we need to do is again, look at the history. Pele (and other sportsmen/sportswomen of colour) played and competed at a time when there was no wokeism of any sort and they all had terrible experiences. Over twenty years ago I read an article by Pele in which he reminisced about being childhood friends with a little blonde girl at primary school - only for the girl's father to publicly and harshly rebuke her for wasting her future by playing with 'o neguinhos'. Things got worse for him as he grew older, despite fnding fame and fortune on the football pitch. He gave a few interviews about this before he passed away. As you can see, the issues are very complex. 1 Like |

officialwdhtvv: This song is more-or-less a spite on Mbappe, just to make Messi happy. And now, it was sang in an event that has absolutely nothing to do with Mbappe and France. And other teammates joined to sing. Even when they have nothing against Mbappe or France. 2 Likes 1 Share |

this isnt racist song tho, its a bitter pill, if African countries are doing great, we wont have these large population of black players living their original country to represent another, isnt that advance slavery. truth be told we are technically enslaved in africa, no thanks to our leaders |

Beverlyjean:being racist doesnāt take away the beautiful play from Messi. We love Messi because of how he plays not the color of his skin. Even the French that use black players are also racist. Why should anyone get angry he is called a black person. Are you not black, accept who you are. Do you expect a white man to get angry if they are called white monkeys? |

Fujiyama: That guy you quoted was right! We chant worse than that in stadia, viewing centres etc. What is federal character? What us quota system? What is catchment area? Are they not decriminalization and segregation against tribes ? Blame blacks for these racial woes , let black nations build their nations to enviable status in the world. We are the lowest of all races, the poorest, the most hopeless and the weakest of all - we don't even have any black country with nuclear power. All races have nuclear power |

This's not good at all. I don't like racist and would not talk down on someone for who they are. Their worst mistake was dragging Nigerians into this. Nobody dares to drag Nigerians into a troll match and wins. I trust my country men, dem go don unleash hell on this Argentines by now. God bless this Federal Republic of Nigeria. 1 Like |
