Sanwo-Olu promised a similar package to corp members in his state this week. Where is this money all coming from now? How is the state suddenly able to afford this but not able to pay its workers above minimum wage? undecided

I served in osun 2014, back then, medical students were paid dis said amount.....a lot have changed from 2014 to 2024.....things should be different

This is absolutely wrong and false.

How can you call someone with complete license to practice medicine student? They were not even considered as students when them been dey do internship sef.

Back in 2005/2006, Benue state government paid me 2500 naira monthly. This is 2024 and they're paying 15k for non medical corpers? They can do better

I was paid 4k in 2013/2014.

Federal paid 19,800.

His pledge is just a mirage , an empty unfulfilled promise . I remember when the ZI was telling us that the 15k the governor promised is not binding on the governor, that he can either honour it or do otherwise

Benue state only paid Batch B2 of 2023/2024 twice since August and they will be passing out next week. some didn't even receive any at all.

Discriminatory practice. Not good at all.

It's a global thing.

And it's not a bad practice.

Look at the years of training and the work a doctor puts in. Compare this with other fields. It really would not be fair for the pay to be the same.

Even among doctors, salaries differ, especially in western countries.

All these things re semi empty promises. He only paid twice since last year august he made the promise, some didn't even get any

dey come now, they will only pay u twice in all ur service year and some haven't even gotten since August last year

he paid Feb and June only. this is a promise he made since August

The term, student doctor, is entirely reserved for undergraduate medical students.

Normally corpers deserve an increment to that 33k , because that money no dey reach anywhere at all.
