Wrong move. But am glad because the North should be taught some political lessons now. So that by 2027 they can also teach Tinubu a bigger political lesson. Yorubas should know that as far as Tinubu is concerned only South West are on their own o. Because when it was Jonathan time he Tinubu didn't consider him as a southern person. So South South and South East will never support Tinubu. Now that he is creating more gap between himself and the north let's see how he can be president again. 1 Like |

WizardOfNG: It's amusing how you twist facts to suit your narrative. Your desperate attempt to paint Tinubu as the paragon of democracy while dismissing legitimate criticisms shows a remarkable level of cognitive dissonance. Freedom of speech isn't just about allowing people to speak; it's also about ensuring that actions align with those lofty ideals. Tinubu's so-called devotion to democracy doesn't negate the fact that political manipulation and power plays are rampant. Your rose-colored glasses are clearly distorting your view of reality. As for the rules within political parties, comparing them to household rules is laughably simplistic. A political party isn't a family dinner table; it's a complex entity where dissent and debate should be encouraged, not stifled. Your assertion that Ndume is a "fifth columnist" without providing substantial evidence is just another baseless smear. Ndume's choice to stay within the APC while voicing his disagreements might actually be a sign of his commitment to democratic principles, showing that internal critique is possible and necessary. Suggesting he should leave the party to fight from the opposition is an oversimplified and cowardly way of shutting down dissent. Your entire argument hinges on blind loyalty to a political figure, ignoring the broader principles of democracy and fair governance. Until you can see past your biases and engage in a balanced discussion, your words will remain hollow and your credibility in serious political discourse will be nonexistent. 1 Like |

WizardOfNG:It's amusing how you think towing the party line is the ultimate measure of sense and loyalty. Your narrow-minded view that dissent within a party is unacceptable shows a lack of understanding of democratic principles and healthy political discourse. Sanctioning and disciplining someone for voicing their opinion only highlights the authoritarian streak within your beloved party. True democracy thrives on debate, dissent, and the ability to challenge leaders without fear of retribution. Your call for Ndume to be silenced or kicked out of the party just underscores your preference for blind obedience over critical thinking. If you believe that Ndume's history discredits him, present the facts instead of resorting to baseless accusations and simplistic solutions. Suggesting that anyone who disagrees should just leave and join the opposition is a cowardly way to avoid addressing the real issues within your party. Your defense of Tinubu and the APC at all costs, even when faced with legitimate criticism, shows that you're more interested in preserving power than fostering a true democratic environment. Until you can embrace the concept of constructive dissent and understand that healthy debate strengthens, rather than weakens, a party, your arguments will continue to lack depth and credibility. Grow up and realize that democracy isn't about unquestioning loyalty—it's about holding leaders accountable, encouraging diverse viewpoints, and ensuring that the best ideas rise to the top, even if they come from within. 1 Like |

His seat will be de lared vacant since he's no longer a member of any political party. If he decamp to another political party it becomes worse or same. As Ndume is right now, he has no saving heaven at all. Democracy is driven on a political party and will learn how not to fight ur driver because if u do, he will have over 10 options on ways to deal with u. 1. He will drop u in a dangerous place in d Bush and expose u to wild animals and bandits alike. 2. He will drive u into a river and u perish if u are not a good swimmer and the Driver may have calculated that he swims very well. 3. He may swam into d river that has so many dangerous species of animal and contaminated water and u are as good as dead. 4. He may swam into an oncoming dangote truck or a stationary tree in a suicide mission. Sometimes he may have juju to escape. 5. He may throw u out of d door while on motion. Etc... So anywhere in d world its never permitted especially when u have taken advantage by positioning ur kids in juicy positions. Sorry Ali Ndume, u are gone. 4 Likes |

This is not new or strange to Senator Ali Ndume having been removed as a Majority Leader by the leadership of 8th Senate in a similar circumstance. However, democracy is not seen to be thriving when all manners of dissent and/or criticisms are frowned at. 1 Like |

He has only been kicked out as Party Whip. That's an entirely legitimate and appropriate move. No one removed him as an APC member or Senator. If he wishes, he can defect to another party. 3 Likes |

Procashtips: Bro, you are the joke. Show where this is tolerated anywhere in the world. If your vision of serving the people, as a politician, no longer align with that of your Party then defect to a platform that suits your aspiration. That is how it is done worldwide. No where in the world will Political Parties tolerate disruptive elements whose only mission appear limited to undermining the Party from within. 4 Likes |

WizardOfNG: Your delusion is as amusing as it is misguided. You seem to believe that absolute conformity and blind loyalty are the hallmarks of a healthy political party. In reality, your stance is nothing short of authoritarianism masquerading as pragmatism. Political parties that encourage debate and tolerate dissent are the ones that thrive and evolve. The idea that anyone who disagrees should simply defect is an oversimplification that ignores the value of internal critique. It’s laughable to think that the only solution is to purge dissenters rather than address the issues they raise. Your vision of political parties as monolithic entities where everyone must march in lockstep is not only unrealistic but detrimental to the democratic process. The notion that dissent is inherently disruptive shows a fundamental misunderstanding of how robust political systems work. Constructive criticism from within is essential for growth and adaptation. You accuse others of being disruptive, yet your intolerance for differing viewpoints is the real disruption. It stifles innovation and breeds a toxic environment where sycophancy is rewarded over genuine contribution. If you can’t handle dissent within your party, it’s a reflection of your insecurity and fear of facing uncomfortable truths. Before you preach about how things are done worldwide, maybe take a closer look at successful democracies. They embrace debate, they tolerate dissent, and they understand that diverse perspectives are their strength, not a weakness. Until you grasp these fundamental principles, you’ll remain stuck in your narrow, authoritarian mindset. Grow up, and realize that true leadership and effective governance come from engaging with all voices, not just the ones that echo your own. Your obsession with conformity and loyalty at the expense of critical thinking and innovation will only lead to stagnation and failure. 2 Likes |
