But he is only giving his kinsmen a sound warning so that EndSars destruction doesn't repeat itself. I wonder why some posters are angry with him.
He doesn't command any followership among the Great Igbos. A banished omoale he remains.

Joe igbo we sorry, I understand where you coming from, servitude . Protest was carried out in Kenya, no ethnic group was blamed.

Igbos have passed that stage of 70s mentality but that is exactly where you are. Eating the scrub that falls from the table of the people that held us down.

No political appointment for Joe Igbokwe yet? Not even commissioner for drainage which he enjoyed in the last administration.
Na wa o!

Anyways, Igbos in Lagos will be busy in their shops making money while the protest go on.
He should advise Sowore a Yoruba man who wants to spearhead the protest in Lagos.

Na appointment for Fashola either and many others. You can't shade Joe Igbokwe because he is a man who enjoys enormous goodwill.

His only crime is not following the Igbo herd mentality blindly.

He has spoken. A word is enough for the wise. If protest is genuine then protestors must be ready to comply with the instructions of the police which will be very restrictive and stern so no allowance for any hidden agenda to play out.

I think the man dey fear for his safety and nothing more in case anything happens, which makes sense. But he should leave his kinsmen out of all this. If he has message to Nigerians he should pass it generally.

The Nigerian situation is a peculiar one, it is difficult to side with the people because the government has a point. There are genuine citizens who have no ulterior motive but there are sinister groups who have bad intentions, who are waiting to take the opportunity a protest presents to unleash evil. That’s why it is difficult to berate the government when they say they won’t allow protest. Humans are wicked, it is so funny that some people will be planning somewhere that since you can’t allow us rule Lagos, we will destroy the infrastructure under the pretense of a protest.

Did Joe Igbokwe partook in the June 12 riots to restore MKO Abiola's mandate during the ill governance days of the inglorious Abacha regime? If he didn't then he has no bloody right to advise anyone.

"They are networking again. They are spitting fire and brimstone once again. But dynamics have changed. It is not business as usual. But please know this and have inner peace: 2020 is not 2024. I will not speak further. Read my lips".
Mazi ignokwe, don't disturb yourself.
October 20, 2020 has shown the (still) naive ones that Jan 15, 1966 was NOT by chance; it is was premeditated.

The (sectional) military hatched their own coup 58 years ago (1966) while their civilian counterparts did theirs 54 years later (2020).

Una go get sense laslas

I hope you say the same about the riff-raff Kanu?

Besides, Joe Igbokwe clearly said leader of Igbos in Lagos APC.

Wonderful warning message from Joe.

Why are the Igbos in nairaland angry that Joe warned them not to protest. Isn't that what you guys are also saying on nairaland that you will not protest.

Even though majority of those holding spaces on twitter about how they will protest are majorly igbos too.

They are angry because it is now obvious many are aware of the real agenda they want to achieve with the protest. Folks are prepared for them.

As it it, they've begun to see another desperate avenue they wanted to use to oust Tinubu going up in smoke. The pain and frustration is too much for them.

You can tell that they have an hidden agenda. Same people are creating topics on Nairaland about how they weren't going to protest. Joe Igbokwe said same thing and they are all weeping.

Joe Igbokwe knows his people more than we do. They know Joe understands their mindset and that's why they are now attacking him.

Tinubu's administration will come to an end

But Igbos will live forever!!

For Igbos like beremx who will go and join them to protest and end up giving them excuse to use us as scape goat.

They have already started their division. As if only Igbos did endsars. I repeat any Igbo that plans to joins in this protest will die before he gets the chance to do so.
