Minimum wage is not for your core staff With this minimum wage new graduate will start on level 8, which will be above 150k, while principal and top goons goes home with over 500k Even school cert holders start from level 4 which is around 100k But most illetrate on nairaland think minimum wage is what you pay a fresh graduate or an experienced staff 3 Likes |

superCleanworks: It's very possible but that 18 year old will be a fool if he thinks he can do that simply by being a primary school dropout that will earn 70k minimum wage or a staff of a company or civil servant, he needs to start thinking of founding his company and more importantly the problem that his company will solve |

Attention President Tinubu: -God bless President Tinubu - for this increase in Minimum wages, even beyond the expectations of 'Nay- have it' .This shows that you have a listening 👂 ears. -Kudos to the Labour Leaders too,for being magnanimous in their rugged fights ,to better Nigerian Workers lives! - Equally important is the New Novelties you brought to Wages Negotiation - by Reducing the 5-years to 3-years,is a good one for Workers in Nigeria,as this can be used to Measure Productivity and the Change in our Working Environment. • To Fight Inflation downward,we Nigerians should: 1- all be involved in Productive Activities in Farming 🧺 and be ready for more Exports oriented Policy e g Ghanians are Exporting Yams,but we Nigerians are Producing more than them. 2• Also, Nigerians have no business being Importers - Yam, Maize🌽, Millets, 🌾 Rice Production, Tomatoes, 🫑 🌶️ pepper, Livestock ( Cow🐄, Goats 🐐,Garri, Chicken 🐔, but be in Full Productions,etc . We should even be Exporters of these Foodstuffs - if and when we meet the Local Needs,like the Indians are doing ( remember India are 1.456 Billions People and same with the Chinese Population - but are Now Net Exporters of Food Security! 3• President Tinubu - should Orders most of the Ministries,e g Agriculture - that have to do with Agricultural Development - to give them a Task to Perform and Produce and Sack some,to send messages that the Humongous Money in their Budgets is not just to be frittered to their Private Pockets anymore and they should be Accountable. 4• President Tinubu should Orders CBN - to begin to give a Low Interest Loans- to Nigerians- e g 3- 5% Interest Rate- like they do in Us and Europe -to those in Agriculture and Small and Medium Scale Businesses in the Country - the essence is to draw Nigerians into these Areas of Businesses,so that we become Independent Country in Food Production and Food Security,for we can all get something done with the Lands in Nigeria, even in our Yards. 5• President Tinubu Should call the Market Women Association to Order,for they have not been helping the Nigerian Workers ,in this area and they should know that- Minimum Wages is Not Udoji Free -Money. For there is no reason for escalating the Price Increases from their end,as they have been doing. -That is why we give Kudos to Oni of Ife ,for recently,he gave orders that the association must stepped down their activities. • Other Allowances Can Be Negotiable too.
