My fear in this Redmi is the number of complaints I've read on this thread. Complaints like: lifespan, ghost touches, etc.
I know all devices have their challenges but Redmi own plenty. So why are people rushing to get a Redmi?

Is the number of complaints here a reflection of the entire user base of the brand?

Are you using MIUI? If yes. Contact → Menu (top right corner) and select Export → Export to Storage.

Please, my Redmi Note 9pro was affected by water yesterday and it damaged the screen.
I went to the technician this afternoon and the screen was changed, and the panel/motherboard was also cleaned and dried.
After fixing everything, I inserted my SIM card and the phone couldn't detect it. I reboot the phone several times, yet not showing.
The technician went through the Phone info and the "Baseband version" says "unknown", so he said water affected something in the board.

Please, how can I resolve this issue?
I can't use a phone without SIM cards!!!
I'm so helpless !!!

The only brand new phone you can get are the redmi note 13 series,redmi note 13 pro 4G, but you might need to add more money to capture the 8/256gb,

But try to check out the poco m6 pro, 4g, it's the same exact phone as the redmi note 13 pro 4g,

You can get the Google pixel 5 or 6. Another phone with a superb camera is Tecno Camon 30 cos of that Sony sensor it uses. Everything about it is wonderful and even in lowlight, it does amazingly well.
