The rest of us in Nigeria, did we come to this world to serve Dangote ?

He is hitting 70, only you the sell cement to the whole country.

Only you want to sell diesel and petrol to the whole country.

At the rate we are going we have to pray for him not to enter water and oxygen business.

I get it, he is an avid business man, but the optics do not look good. Especially knowing fully well some of the money used to build that refinery was definitely sourced from Nigerian coffers through Elemiefiele (former CBN governor).

If he is not expecting any concessions from Nigerian crude Oil, let him buy international crude and sell Petrol to international community or have Nigerian government buy from him.

Do you really thing Asiwaju invested over billion of dollars to win election, just to hand over the crown jewel of Nigerian economy(Petrol procurement) to Dangote, just like that.

Playing devils advocate: Land is Lagos, Crude oil is Niger delta, Capital for financing was most likely Emelefiele sourced, Refinery Pollution is Lagos, Owner Kano.

There is no country in the world with its energy tied to 1 single individual

PROFITS 100% DANGOTE.

Thief tinubu of Lagos state should investigate thief dangote and destroy his companies that has employed over 50,000 persons. How many families are employed by thief tinubu? Jealousy will kill you Yoruba folks o. A Yoruba thief needs no investigation, but the fulani own who has no access to public fund should be destroyed - not even investigated. This is envy at work in your heart and life

Do you mean for the better good of his Lebaness friends, maybe! What better good would be to allow the refinery first function well, at least? Asiwaju knows he has like two years remaining.....so he is eager to perfect his corruption well well. But this time, na Africa's wealthest man the shege dey affect!

grin this thing is just funny me? The country is dying, and everything is up in terms of cost. The one thing that will crash prices is what you are protesting Nigerians should not agree to?!

Look the common man is with Dangote. If it means chasing tinubu out of office to restore normalcy in the economy that will be what will happen. Hell we'll install Dangote as defacto leader of the country so his refinery will save the common man.

why should anyone care at this point who owns the pie? Dangote can be taxed both now and in future since he hopes to continue doing business here but the important thing now is for Nigeria to progress. The suffering is too much

There father started the refinery back in 1927 and it was nothing close to the size and scale that you see today. That company is about 84 years old. undecided

1. Crash prices when Dangote himself has it on his website that he will sell at about the same price as others, at or above Naira 1000. And please do not tell me that price is cheap abeg cause that is about the same price we pay here in the States for the same. lipsrsealed

You're naive. PBAT will leave the economy bankrupt and Nigeria a wasteland for your children to inherit. Go and study how mafia organisations run, and you'll realise PBAT thinks of no one but himself. Now that Dangote has offered to sell the refinery to NNPC (we know he meant the Landlords), let's see what becomes of this generation in the next 7 years. We will also learn together, how PBAT can achieve the $1 trillion economy when investors' confidence is ZERO. Many Nigerians lack critical thinking skills, but try to sound intelligent. The right questions should be who wants Dangote refinery to fail and why?. What is the alternative (importation)?.

Dangote said he will crash prices of diesel, which is already happening.

For PMS he will sell at a competive rate to make gross profit. grin when he has cashed out it will get to a point that gradually when he sources crude from the motherland, he will even crash the prices further. grin

if he wants to, he could--- he probably has the money to. But he is busy not doing it and instead whining for reasons not understood by most. I personally believe he is not being honest at all, like the government in this. All this news is to paint him a victim of some sort but the true victims in all of this are the Nigerian people who are he expects to have shortchange in order for him to win in this. undecided

That is a lie! Dangote made the claim back in April. Since, then the price of diesel has risen, has it not? Diesel is sold at approximately Naira 1000- Naira 1200 today and much of it is supposedly subsidized by the government. So where is the crash?!undecided

Thank you. We are taking our country back.
We are also taking back our resources.
This country belongs to all of us.
Whether you knkow it or not the Oil and Gas sector funds people salaries vis a vis crude oil sales etc
We cannot hand over all the Oil and Gas sector to a serial monopolist.
Even if the senate and house of reps pretend they dont know what Dangote is doing we the citizens will stand up against him.
Nigeria crude oil and Limestone belongs to me and you in the same way it belongs to dangote. He cannot corner all of it and pretend like he is doing business.

Business for who ? For his own pocket ?

Re: Tinubu Vendetta Against Dangote by okoloto: 6:24am On Jul 22
Dangote did not setup his refinery to subsidise fuel or gas for you. It is a business for him which is all about taking advantage of an environment.
If you check his cement is the costliest among all cement brands.
Why should it be so? When he has more capacity which should transcend to cheaper production and delivery cost.
No government allows an individual sabotage their plans. Part of the high cost of food is delivery powered by gas or petrol. Without the government of lagos, it is not easy getting that land in a metropolis city like lagos. Nigeria government gave him concession by providing foreign exchange at the official rate instead of market rate at the time. Do you know how much that is? Nigerians made him and should be considerate in his pricing.
