The problem is the typical organic nature of protests and how Nigeria is currently a tinderbox.
Tinubu has been acting like Nigerians have an unlimited threshold for pain.
But the events in Kenya and the potential of an African version of the Arab Spring has him restless.
He has been f*cking around. Now he is worried about finding out.

Look at the speed at which he agreed to a new minimum wage and forwarded same to the Senate.
He was going to drag that out with 2k increases for the foreseeable future.

Whatever happens, he deserves it.
But it'll be terrible if we have a Lekki 2.0 or Kenya repeats itself here.
There is a lot of anger in the country. Angry people don't tend to be disciplined.

You are intelligent......

When sacred traditional institutions start meddling in politics, things like this become unavoidable. APC remains a cancer.
My governor proudly standing up for his culture. I love this

It's a sad state of affairs really, something of this nature is brewing and the president is personally absent, expected, given his physical and cognitive challenges, but then...this was foretold 🤦

And yea, one can't say how a truly organic protest is likely to go, for all we know this protest that they've given date for over a month now could be APC running some false flag operation.

Issue based? Trump? Hahaaaaa

Everything you have typed here is the opposite of who Trump is. Trump’s appeal, especially to his base doesn’t follow scripts.

For Kamala, part of the strategy would be to trigger Trump by raising his history women and other sensitive topics, forcing him to talk himself into trouble if he tries to match it.
Well he will need to show he's learned from his mistakes.

The people he's facing already know they've been huge embarrassing failures. That's why they're fear mongering

Trump knows he's no saint and has never pretended to be one. No need to engage. The men and women that support Trump do not care about all of that

He should stick to the topics that bother the overwhelming majority of Americans which is what a disastrous presidency the Biden administration which she has been part of and let the public know that she's even worse and more incompetent than Biden (everyone knows this and it's not racism or sexism to point it out)

Why is the Tinubu led admin so scared of a protest that is yet to happen? So Tinubu knows he has fvcked up. Bad people are always running even when nobody is chasing them.

President is absent from where?
Was it not a few days ago that he met with Labor leaders and signed the minimum wage?

Or where do you expect him to be that he is not

.....Government ain't afraid of protest rather anarchy. Protest is constitutional but anarchy ain't rather a crime.

Government is just being proactive, protest peacefully, don't destroy properties while doing it cos Security Forces won't allow it.

The Message ain't that hard nah.

Harris is not likable.
Her favorability is underwater.
He can take potshots at her, since she's not holding back. She called Trump a predator.

The good thing though is that he has a lot of arrows in the quiver.
So the personal attacks complement actual verifiable failings and policy positions that would not resonate with Middle America.
I watched his NC rally. He spent more than half a hour reeling her positions.

When they're going so far as erasing her records on GovTrack and Axios is stealth editing old articles calling her a Border Czar, you know we're landing punches. She was in charge of the border and she only visited once. She went to South America and came back with nothing. Millions more poured in and some of the illegal immigrants ended up committing brutal crimes.
She said she's in favor of banning fracking and in her time in the Senate she was left of Biden. She has cheered every Biden misstep and cannot extricate herself from Biden's awful records. She owns it.

Trump should be relentless in the attacks. Both personal and policy-wise. Don't separate them. Weave them together.

Personally, I like that some Republicans are spooked by Harris' emergence and initial enthusiasm.
Many of them were beginning to fall into the 2016 Clinton Dem trap where they expected the election to become a walkover.
They need to go all out and not let up until election day.

Lmaos ...Useless protest.

No sensible persom will join any protest except hoodlums that sees it as an avenue to loot shops and vandalize properties.
