Why do you new generation pastors select tithing from old testament but reject polygamy from the same old testament?

Facts. Jesus only preached giving and helping the poor not tithing. I love this concept because while tithing is just 10% it makes a lot of sense that Jesus only preached giving and helping which has no limits. Even his apostles gave examples of a church that sold their belongings and shared it amongst themselves such that there is no single person lacking in the church.
It is like the kind of life young men who are close friends live. You might see all of them very rich outside but really out of five it could be only one is rich and the rest are just feeding off him and he is cheerfully giving it.
Unfortunately this is not replicated in the modern church. Catholics are much closer to it, but Orthodox focuses on building mega structures and enriching preachers at the expense of the worshippers, the real church of Christ.

There is a reason why Jesus took fish and bread from someone, blessed it and multiplied it. He could have manufactured it out of no where like the way money came out of a fish, rather he took it from someone and 'shared' it.
It's so simple. We christians today can perform the same miracle. By sharing and giving and that wealth will be multiplied.

But most preachers would disagree!

So, should I keep sacrificing my fattest oxen on the ritual alter (most common form of tithe in the old testament) or give giving those livestock to the 'priests' when Jesus has died and risen?

While many were preaching about money (tithes and offerings) and material things, the mad man was preaching about hell fire as Jesus did.

The man despite being apparently poor also rejected offering the crowd contributed to help him, and asked them to give them to the poor just as Jesus taught us to do.
