emmaodet: You need to be specific about what you want, including the calculations you need and how you want the results presented. Also, check its results as it can make mistakes. Note that the post you quoted is not from the Claude. Python things. Also, don't upload the files as that would use up your free quota. Instead, copy and paste the pages with the financials. |

Raider76: Don't just report dem say dem say nah.. i clicked on the link and read the comments.. someone commented that it's not a registered company but a project... https://ctp-llp.com/portfolio-items/ras-hanzir-cargo-facility-project-malta/ Moreover did anyone say they conducted a search on the so called company and it showed that its owned by Oando? No evidence. Mere beer parlour rumour 1 Like |

This week in NGX, expect: - Further selling pressure in the banking sector in response to the 70% taxation on Forex gains (2023-2025) - Anticipated "day of rage" protests - 22-26% Treasury Bill by the FGN These factors are likely to fuel a bearish trend on NGX, with possible counter-trend movements π. π. |

Mankind2024:I support the hunger protest but not civil unrest. Any civil unrest will not do the economy/nse good..Someone once said I can not be hungry and you say thou shall not steal. It is our right to peaceful protest |

SonofElElyonRet: I only gave a link to what I read elsewhere to inform. You can say your own. The truth will eventually come out. Whether it's a company or a project I think what people want to know is does it belong to some Nigerians, and if so who? 1 Like |

Raider76: It does not belong to oando. No evidence to that effect. Don't even think its an oil refinery or blending plant.. whoever alleges or asserts bears the burden of proof... those saying it belongs to Oando should adduce evidence! 1 Like |

The results from OKOMUOIL is still good based on H1.i was thinking the insecurity they are facing was going to hit them hard though the first quarter in isolation is better than the second quarter. I guess they are handling the insecurity well. And for APR i was expecting the bonus in near future but not this yr since the OS is just 2B.i wast expecting it when eps begin to hit like #1.50 for the yr. Tony it looks you are considering your shareholders as per the hunger in the land. And to make cash available for them to pick uba RI too |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Choiceguy: 9:05pm On Jul 28 |
SonofElElyonRet: To me na just speculation .it might not be coming from him,but speculation is part of the game.untill Oando publish result and wale says he is no longer delisting then the game will change. It is still a gamble, stock price does not move in a straight line. 1 Like |

SonofElElyonRet: They didn't say it belonged to Oando. They said Wale and other board members are majority shareholders of the company. However, if it means more revenue for Oando, I don't have a problem with it. 1 Like |

SonofElElyonRet: I think I now see another reason why one may want to delist. If you want to make a stupendous amount of money away from public scrutiny then a publicly listed company is not the answer. 1 Like |

Can someone still buy Oando? Please advise |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 9:07am On Jul 29 |
Emir01: Yes, you can still buy shares of any company that is listed on NGX, including Oando. If you are new in the stock market, just get in touch with a registered/licensed stock broking firm and they will will guide you through the process. |

sterlingD: Can someone please summarise this report in words please? It seems they are still making loss with potential for returns in the short term. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Emir01: 9:24am On Jul 29 |
mikeapollo: Thanks. I want to know whether is a good move to buy Oando. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 9:55am On Jul 29 |
Emir01: The decision to buy or not will depend on several factors that only you can decide on: i. your understanding of the stocks that you want to buy e.g. prospects of the company, the sector/industry etc. ii. your investment goal: e.g. are you buying to make a specific capital (price) gain in the short term or holding for dividends in future.? iii. your risk appetite i.e. are you ready to take risk without panicking even if the price falls drastically along the way? iv. your investment horizon: for how long a period are you prepaid to invest your money without having to sell? v. are you investing your own funds or borrowed funds? etc. I will suggest you do some due diligence, read and consult people who know about the operations and prospects of the stocks (Oando) etc. 3 Likes |
