There have been repeated fuel scarcity since 1976, and we have lost a lot of refining capacity from 400000 In 1987 to 9200 In 2019, and ironically under buhari's boys, efforts were made to repair refineries

But the issue is, why was there scarcity when buhari was not in charge ? Why did our refining capacity diminish from 1987-2019, when buhari was not in charge until the last 4 years? Either Buhari actually was running NIgeria from 1976 to date, or, quite simply, it is a matter of selling at a loss causing a lot of issues and issues as a result.

At least I know I don't have scarcity of foodstuff, because the sellers still are allowed to sell at market price. Sell yam at N200 per tuber to help the poor, and scarcity results.

IN the old soviet union, food subsidy was the thing. Result...massive scarcities of foodstuff, especially meat and bread, and empty shelves. Once Yeltish removed subsides...yes food was damm expensive, but by the year 2001, things have stablized

Today in Moscow and Vladivostok and St Petersburg, you can buy your choice of bread and meat. NO scarcity, no subsidy.

When marketers start selling at 1800, price will get to 2800 within 6 months? Fuel was 500 when tinubu removed subsidy, how much is fuel now in less than a year? When Jonathan wanted to remove subsidy it was this very same Tinubu that led the protest, so what nonsense are u saying now?? How many times will Tinubu remove subsidy in less than 1 year? When people are already boiling with anger over the hunger in the land, the government decided to add jara with this latest fuel scarcity!

If Nigerians cannot react now, they can never ever react. If they are serious, they are not even meant to have waited till now.
