We saw posts showing ecstasy about the Northern protesters. Show where I said only my wife is good as you claimed.

You did not say it!

We are the ones telling you that she is the only good woman in the entire 5 SE states.

Your wife, is the only good woman there.

If Tinubu was even taking these hard policies, and we were seeing moves by them to even cut costs, e for make sense.

We now have one of the most bloated cost of governance in history.

Removed subsidy on TV, and we are paying times 50 at the back

Money no dey, 20 billion for VP house
Money no dey, Minister dey use 1 Million plus to fuel 6 cars from Abuja to Anambra.

I no sabi economics, and when Ibi.me or User comment, i shut up and read.

But i have done enough buying and selling to know that all these theories are just talks. It will reduce next to nothing.

When we were paying 70% import duty, dollar was 400. Infact, how much did Buhari leave it?

Now without any import duty, it is 1600. So, how will zero import duty reduce whatever we are paying? It can get to 1800 before we finish August.

If Tinubu removes duty from fuel and stops subsidy, you will buy fuel at 1,100. Infact, before the next Eke market day, it will be 1250.

Then you'll tell me that it is cheaper?

This is not how it work bro.

Let's use $1 - 1600.

Before the open border and import duties waiver:

If you buy a container of Wheat at $50k, that's 80m naira using the exchange rate of 1600, you will then have to pay a 70% import duties on the container of Wheat that you just imported. That's 0.7x$50,000 = $35,000. Using the exchange rate of 1600, that's 56m. It basically means the businessman will pay 80m + 56m = 136m for a full container of Wheat.

With the new policy, the same business man will pay just 80m, saving the business man 56m.

Which price will be cheaper, when the businessman has to pay 136m or 80m?

This doesn't negate the fact that exchange rate has to go down significantly also to further crash the price further.

As police Don arrest these hoodlums, let us hope the protest by the peaceful people isn't disturbed again.

I mean the people that protested against protest a few days ago didn't have hoodlums attack them.
Police should keep doing a good job

80 million.

By December, that 80 million turns to 140 million without duty.

So is duty really the issue?

Something that I and A40 talked about here

Plus the person he's quoting once boldly claimed on this same twitter account that Igbos are third class citizens behind Northerners and cows.

And I'm to take such an anencephalic fool serious because e wan call off protest.
