It was inevitable

Tinubu should have done all he could to avert this, even it means twerking on National TV

If any terrorist group enter inside, nobody go sleep for house oh.

What else could he have done that wasnt done? But some people insisted

Whther they protest for 2years Tinubu will be there till 2027, same way Buhari was there till 2023 despite endsars protest

The innocent lives and properties that will be wasted na the issue now

People are just looting anyhow in Kano and Kaduna. In protest like this people will use the opportunity to steal. We have seen it happens so many times. America oh, Kenya oh. Etc.

People are even stealing traffic lights.

In 4 weeks time they will ask why is there no traffic light in Kano

That's why some people that knew Obi flopped as Governor and wished he dies in a plane crash, later wanted him to be the President of the country.

It's like me supporting Fayose to become the President of Nigeria.
Una defended Buhari and argued with me for years, so I don’t think you’re good with them choices.
If you don’t support Fayose, he might be a good guy then grin

Protest is our fundamental right but destruction of properties is not, and I have said it many times here. Few folks have answered your question but let me help you out with it one more time.

2027 is less down 3yrs, vote him out. Whether you protest from now till tomorrow, PBAT ain't ready to backdown. Kindly watch yesterday World Press Conference by his Cabinet Members. He believes he is on the right track to fix Nigeria, he acknowledges the hardship and promises prosperity is close.

If PBAT eventually fails, God forbids, I will humbly campaign aggressively against his re-election. He has this term to fix Nigeria and I still have confidence he can do it.

You have to understand that hunger protest can't be tamed.

You are threatening a very hungry/angry man instead if proper communication...

It is always going to be worse .

If this protest lingers....the opening ceremony might just be child's play

No amount of protest will make Tnubu leave that chair, they have only made lives of others worse
Someone said Obi should lead, LMAO. Obi lead protest and Kano is destroyed, Guess one of the hundred bad things that will happen to Obi, his businesses, his supporters and his region

Na so dem dey end bad governance by looting shops. Soon we go dey hear narratives say na govt sponsor the looters to destroy peaceful protests

We all know what we are doing sha

Lmaooo mention the last time you saw a major anti-government protest that was peaceful in apc regime.
We can go back to PDP too.

Now what can we do as anti-government protests are violent?
What are the alternatives?

No protest even end peacefully. There are some people just waiting for a little disobedience across board to start carrying out their own agenda.

That's why instead of the police warning people not to protest so it wont be hijacked, they should be making sure that the protest is carried out in a controlled manner where they can nip any violence in the mud immediately.

It is annoying, it's why this "Yoruba Ronu" fueled tribalism is especially insidious. God pass all of them, I'm sure the rest of the country won't sit idly and watch the nonsense that happened during the civil war repeat itself.

It's a good thing the protests have played out the way it has, those that refuse to leave APC should be the ones setting themselves alight. The Gideon Orka coup should have put to bed this nonsense forever.

Seems you have a deep problem with Yorubas

An Hausa poster said something about Ibos and somehow you did complex trigonometry to link it to Yorubas?

How is Yoruba Ronu fueljng tribalism? Yoruba think is what is fueling tribalism? When people in the same state same ethnic group find ways to discriminate among themselves

I agree.
So then what is the alternative seeing as anti-government protests are demonised.

What do you suggest is done that will also have the same effect and send the required message to a Federal Government that doesn't care.

.......Airmark and I were proffering solutions to hunger issue but guess what?! We were mocked.

After I suggested massive Importation of staple foods by the Government to complement opening of borders, my dear friend and brother izzou started gathering firewoods, lighted it and roasted me well well. Thanks Swiz123 and larride that comot me for fire, I for don turn ashes.

I also suggested separation and creating New Ministry for Foods Security, basically with sole objective - flood every nook and cranny of Nigeria with subsidized foods. Una no see this ó, na Oasis dey mock us una dey post upandan. LOL!

What proper communication beyond what was done in the last 1 month

Now there are no govt sponsored people to blame, its communication we blame now

Everyone go enjoy the proceeds of the protest and hope the demands will be met after burning down the whole state

The thing I love more about it is that they are doing it to their own state.

When foolish people act, the consequences can affect their family. One reason parents do their best to train their kids to make good decisions is that one bad decision can ruin a family name for generations

E.g See the name Abdul Mutalab is now associated with evil that probably no one in his lineage approved of. The name they built for generations spoilt by one person

Ibos are not foolish people, e get why every reasonable Ibo leader was shouting on every rooftop and MTN mast say no protest

Those wey wan protest should do in their state and enjoy the proceeds. The sad part is when the protesters destroy their states they get on buses and head to states that didnt destroy theirs to make life harder for those wey use sense
