Who defended Buhari? Wetin you dey smoke?

That's the difference between me and most of you with no true love for the country.

So saddening seeing pics of some of the victims on twitter.

How Sanwoolu could allow such to happen under his nose is still shocking to me.

How would you fire bullets to unarmed protesters?. Is Buhari actually the one in charge of Nigeria?

.......Airmark and I were proffering solutions to hunger issue but guess what?! We were mocked.

After I suggested massive Importation of staple foods by the Government to complement opening of borders, my dear friend and brother izzou started gathering firewoods, lighted it and roasted me well well. Thanks Swiz123 and larride that comot me for fire, I for don turn ashes.

I also suggested separation and creating New Ministry for Foods Security, basically with sole objective - flood every nook and cranny of Nigeria with subsidized foods. Una no see this ó, na Oasis dey mock us una dey post upandan. LOL!
That was ur suggestion not heard or acknowledged by the FG.

Out problem now is survival.....and it is hinged on food.

I wish ur hypothesy is fact but in reality naira is more than 1600 vs d dollar...

Opening d border will achieve very little if we are purchasing with foreign currency.

Shockingly...I don't support protest but this one is beyond what can be swallowed just like d endsars saga.

The government didn't and still haven't started communicating even when the protest is at is initial stage...

When people talk of peaceful protest I laugh. No protest in Nigeria can be peaceful especially when it's tagged Hunger Protest 😂

I agree.
So then what is the alternative seeing as anti-government protests are demonised.

What do you suggest is done that will also have the same effect and send the required message to a Federal Government that doesn't care.

The government can demonize protest as much as they like, it doesn't stop it from being a legit form of expressing the citizens disaffection.

As per your last question, the best form of protest in a democracy is through the ballot.

The only region that is not protesting is the SE. They didn't vote Tinubu remember, 99%. You even called them bigots because of it.

So the ones that voted Tinubu are the ones protesting.

The President needs to address the nation tonight. Calm nerves and reassures everyone that they are fixing the country.

The words of the President goes a long way.

airmark:

My brother, what we have had since time immemorial have been selfish people at the helms of affair of governance in this country. I was one of those who thought buhari should nt be there since the era of obj, thinking cos of his Islamic/northern background and dictatorial tendencies. I tried to study his person and realized his actions and inactions have shown he has the interest of majority of Nigerians, who are below middle-class at heart. I listened to his interviews and realized though he has many challenges, he wants to lay great foundation in which everything will be well for majority of us. He has passion for a greater Nigeria at heart, that is undisputable. The past administrations got us into where we are right now. He needs to clean up the mess that might mitigate against his developmental programmes. He gave reasons for not appointing ministers yet, which I believe to every Nigerian patriot made a lot of sense. Permanent secretaries would be able to expose the rot in the system directly to him with no fear and this will make Buhari to bring a new system which can reduce corrupt practices to the bearest minimum and in essence people will directly feel the impact of his programmes. Now things are hard but I believe with time things will fall into places. Now nobody wants to go to jail, the era of impunity is gone, an average Nigerian can report any corrupt person to the appropriate agencies and nothing will be swept under the carpet.

......you guys keep hammering on FX like its all we need to beat down inflation. How much is a bag of Rice in Benin Republic?! Do you know Smugglers do pay more than ₦1m as bribe to clear a Trailer of Rice from Saki to Lagos?!

How do you expect them to recoup the money?! Simply by spreading it on the retail price. Even with CFA, Rice ain't as expensive as its being sold in Nigeria.

If you are interested in Rice business, I can link you up with a sure plug in Saki. You'll be supplied without collateral but you must pay back in 3 days.

Price of Rice will crash in few days times, mark this post. Maize and Wheats will be imported massively too.

There is anger and hunger in the land and the government that should communicate clearly what they are doing to stop the suffering of the people are either gaslighting them or dragging their feet.

The government need to sort out its comms team, 90% of them should be fired immediately. Even the little the government is doing, nobody is explaining them.

Ajuri has been nothing short of a disappointment. Dele Alake should be brought back to the ministry of information and Tolu reappointed as the President spokesperson.

A trailer carries 600 bags

1 million divided by 600 is 1700 naira per bag.

So 1700 is what made rice 72k today?

What does communication do when the actions are still leading to suffering?
At what point do you think people will start calling the communication lamba?
