funkyy598: You said you attached CaC and tax receipt so why will they border about that again? Tax is a government payment and it’s only a legal entity that pays it. If you didn’t attach those, you for have been having same refusal cases. We’re addressing the guys case and that’s what it entails. Read it clearly and you’d comprehend it’s the same case of inactive status or tax. Why will an officer see your employment documents and salaries and still claim they don’t believe the genuine source of your income? May God Help us all, Amen 🙏 1 Like |

GodGraceOnly: I work for a company and also have a side business. My business is inactive on the CAC website. I did not include my employer's CAC certificate, but only my payslip and letter of employment. When my sister's visa was initially refused, I added my personal business account, tax certificate, and CAC certificate of my side business. to explain the lump sum on my account.Canada visa officer are more concern about ur source of fund and the proof because l have over 30m in my bank account to sponsor my sister on a study visa to Canada but my salary is not up to that in a year so they want to know how l come about the fund. Please note that Canada and USA visa processing is more complicated compared to the UK visa process. My business is inactive on CAC, but I pay taxes and am not ready to pay any money to get it active as long as I pay taxes! |

Thanks in advance. uchennay: |

Please how long does it take for study visa to be granted and also, I want to ask that if some has an application like tourist visa submitted, must the visa be out first before applying for study permit or you can submit the study permit application while you are still awaiting your tourist visa. Asking for someone. Thanks Yeezy24: |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by House34: 8:08am On Aug 03 |
Rach86: Student visas and visitor visas are two distinct categories of visas. Therefore, you can apply for and submit a student visa application while your visitor visa application is still being processed and current processing time is now 5 weeks for student application |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by House34: 8:27am On Aug 03 |
Yeezy24: Please note that IRCC is currently processing student permits and family visitor visas for student applicants independently, which can take around 4 to 6 months, similar to regular visitor visa applications. I know of a family who experienced a similar situation. Their application took 5 months to process, resulting in the approval of the two children's visas, but the father's application was denied. Since the wife is a 1-year diploma student, the children's visas were only granted until the end of her program date. The father has reapplied, and we hope his application will be successful this time. 1 Like |

Hello everyone, I urgently need advice for my cousin who wants to apply for a visit visa to Canada. The process is proving to be quite challenging. He plans to visit Canada with his family. His wife and children have Irish passports, so they only need to apply for an eTA before he applies for his visa. Any guidance on the necessary documents and the application process would be greatly appreciated. |

House34:I got the bank statement from access bank, I went to the bank and requested for my bank statement and told them I was using it for study visa I stated very clearly in my sop that I paid full tuition which was 18, 900 cad which was what was written in my offer letter I don’t know where they detected partial payment Although I noticed weeks after I’ve paid I got another new offer letter from the same course and I wrote to them, they said I should disregard the email Weeks after I’ve submitted my application to IRCC they gave me a new invoice for my school tuition which is 19,900 I got a denial way before this second invoice came out I had 23,350,000 naira my account Dollar was 136 |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Maria345: 1:39pm On Aug 04 |
Maria345: So you think I shouldn’t bother to appeal? Just want to know how much it cost for the appeal and how long it takes |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by House34: 2:34pm On Aug 04 |
Maria345: Is 136 a typo error , or do you mean 1,360? becos With 1,360, you only have about 17,186 CAD for 23,350,000 million naira , which is below the living expenses requirement. Also, there’s no need to appeal. It’s better to reapply and state that your fees were paid in full, showing the receipt and ur current offer letter. For your next application, try using mybankstatement you can request it from ur bank it just an electronic form and it simple to upload as it’s the best way to avoid doubts. Please also reconfirm the exchange rate when you apply. If you reapply today, you’ll need about 30 million naira on account for living expenses, even with the full tuition paid already! |

Yeezy24: "Your application has been refused because you have not provided sufficient evidence to demonstrate that you have adequate financial resources to support yourself during your stay in Canada. Furthermore, you have not sufficiently established strong ties to your home country, which raises concerns that you may not leave Canada at the end of your authorized stay" but no 2 application is the same and 1 year diploma is diffierent from 2 years 1 Like |

PamelaNneka83: How is the conference connected to your profession, and what documents did you submit for your visa application? Many people have used conferences to japa, so IRCC is more careful about conference visa approvals. However, due to the date of the conference, you can apply for reconsideration. But most of the time, if you don't have a strong case, it is often not accepted. Another option is to apply for a GCMS note. Some of these conferences sometimes do not even have an IRCC conference code. Hopefully, you can reapply for the next conference. 1 Like |

Fisherlala: There's nothing challenging about applying for a Canada visit visa, as many videos are available on YouTube to guide you. He just needs to apply for an eTA for his wife and child, then include copy of the eTA approval and scan copy of data page their Irish passports in his own application. He should also attach other documents like bank statements, a work letter, property documents, any travel experience proof, or a foreign resident permit if living abroad 1 Like |

Rather go for gcms note so you can know what the specifics of the VO is. Appeal via the court can cost you about 3k CAD or more and there is no guarantee you will be successful. You have 30 days to appeal via the court counting from the day you received the refusal email from ircc. A lawyer that wants to appeal for you will also request for your notes to justify if the appeal is worth it or not. Maria345: |

Larryjam: What exactly can one use as home ties? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by House34: 11:49pm On Aug 04 |
NowisGod109: Demonstrating strong home ties includes property ownership, such as owning a house or land, which can be shown through title deeds and landed property documents, indicating financial investment in your home country. Family ties, supported by birth and marriage certificates, as well as family photos, highlight personal obligations that require your return. Employment stability is crucial, with documents like employment letters and pay stubs showing you have a job to return to. If you own a business, registration certificates, financial statements, and tax clearance documents demonstrate significant commitments. Financial assets, including bank statements and investment portfolios, suggest economic stability. Community involvement, such as participation in local or religious organizations, can be supported by membership certificates and letters from community leaders. Educational commitments, like ongoing studies, can be shown through enrollment letters. Legal obligations, including contracts, further illustrate your need to return. These factors collectively establish a strong case for your intention to return to your home country after your visit but please focus more on the EE and the requirement as it has a long term benefit compare to tourist and with EE you can option for 100% gift deed and no need to proof any home ties. 1 Like 1 Share |
