Nonybb: You might receive it tomorrow - it's a new week. There are factors but you should also consider informing your school about the situation and letting them know you might be deferring your admission and arrival to the next semester. |

Martins281: I HOPE SO MY BROTHER BECAUSE I AM REALLY CONFUSED. I CALLED MY SCHOOL AND THEY TOLD ME THAT TIMETABLE REGISTRATION WOULD RUN FROM AUGUST 6th to SEPTEMBER 17TH. BUT I TOLD THE LADY REPLYING ME THAT WHAT IF I COME LATER, SHE SAID, A DOCUMENT WOULD BE GIVEN TO ME TO THAT EFFECT TO SHOW BORDER AGENCY. BUT WHY DID YOU MENTION THIS TOMORROW OF A THING AND IT POSSIBILITY?? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Martins281(m): 10:00am On Aug 05 |
Nonybb: Yeah, you should let her (the school) know officially. I believe It's called a request for deferment. |

Hello everyone, Please, I want to know if any Canadian school in a good location offers accelerated nursing programs, similar to some schools in the UK. I’ve checked online but I don’t seem to know where to start. I would greatly appreciate any first-hand information. Thanks 🙏🏿 |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Nonybb: 11:25am On Aug 05 |
Martins281: Are you saying that there is possibility that I wouldn't get a response at all. How would I know whether I wasn't granted visa or not. Or there chance that it must certainly come but very late |

Good afternoon all, I submitted my study permit application on 23rd July and did biometric on 25th. Biometric updated same day. I did upfront medical a month before submission with IOM and they sent me message it has been sent to IRCC even before I submitted my application. Now since I submitted and had my biometric on 26th July my medical has not updated to pass. Is it too early to start sending them webform to update my medical? Does it mean that have not checked my application since then? |

Good day gurus in the house. I need advice on POF My son just got admitted into a University in Canada for his undergraduate study. I will appreciate guidance on how best to present the POF to increase his chance of getting study visa. I have a business and currently has about 8million naira in my account. I have a younger brother who is willing to be a co-sponsor and support his education in Canada. He is also ready to make fund transfer into my account if that will work better. My questions for guidance Which is better between being a co-sponsor with a naira statement of account or dollar statement of account domicile in the US? Will a fund transfer of about 35 million naira into my account, okay? As a woman, how do I establish that he is my brother and my son's uncle? We have a joint account in his daddy's name with about 7k, can it be useful? Required fund is about 50m Thank you in anticipation of guidance. |

Hi all, please my younger brother did his biometric on the 3rd of July and since then his agent hasn't said anything to him. the agent said he will get update in his email but it's the 5th week now and no message, he doesn't even know if he passed the biometric or not and he is yet to do his medicals. meanwhile his school is resuming this September. Please how can he know if he passed his biometric so he can go for his medicals? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Nonybb: 4:14pm On Aug 05 |
jojomario: You must have been granted visa for you be optimistic about the passport request. Is that the case? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Makpenen(m): 4:38pm On Aug 05 |
Neche207: No. If you want to know if they have sent the medical details to IRCC, contact their customer care. If you want a copy of the result, you must go there in person with N2, 500 to get it. |

mygladness: Funding undergraduate courses is not easy, if you are able to prove the sources of income for your brother who is acting as co sponsor then it will fly, The money he wants to transfer to you should be used to pay tuition and buy GIC for your child, so that accessibility to the money will not be flagged, you will just be left to explain how the fund were raised and sources to get the funds to finance the remaining years of the school. 1 Like |

Thank you Is it better to have my brother transfer funds into my account, or he present his own account as a co-sponsor. Payment has been made for tuition. Bobomaigida: |

Let him transfer the money to your account or do GIC. mygladness: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 10:23pm On Aug 05 |
I recommend using your brother as a co-sponsor. But you must demonstrate your relationship (birth certificates should suffice). The next issue to resolve is “Why is your brother sponsoring him? Is he financially buoyant? Can you show a prior history of support from your brother to the family and, most importantly, to your son? The following can address the concerns of the VO The bank statement shows funds transferred to you by the sponsor. Photos of the sponsor with your son, especially during important events like graduation, birthdays, etc. Affidavit of sponsorship Sponsor can pay for tuition fees. Proof of communication with your son. A good presentation is usually what it takes to resolve such cases. mygladness: |
