You probably pronounce the name, "Bukayo Saka" exactly the same way Peter Drury pronounces it and this is due to reinforcement training from hearing the name pronounced (incorrectly) hundreds of times over the course of 6 seasons.

Some people fake accent (sometimes it is absolutely necessary when speaking to people from certain other nationalities who have a difficult time understanding an unrefined Nigerian accent) but if you hear words pronounced a certain way countless times, you will form different neural pathways for those words. One can develop an accent later in life if one works hard at it but yeah it is very difficult to NATURALLY develop one after 12-15 years of age.
Even for those that work at it and develop the new accent, they can always revert to their original childhood accent in the right settings.

I have over 5 secondary school mates in the US who now speak with American accents, including one Abiriba boy with strong Igbotic accent and one girl who with strong Ibadan accent.
