Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.....8/10

Top top tier storytelling and directing. Great Cinematography. Great acting work from Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth.

Its very very similar in storytelling to Fury Road so people thought this one was better served watching at home when it streams. It's no FURY ROAD but It's a fun, gritty, action packed and entertaining watch nonetheless, with all the fundamentals basically on lock.

Easily one of the best movies to come out this year.
Too bad George Miller couldn't get the audiences to come out enmasse to watch this one, making it a box office flop. Either way, the original wasn't a box office success as the franchise has mostly been a niche spectrum.

People won't come out bad timing nobody needed a prequel most people who knows the mad max story were part jf the reason it flopped in box office... bang average movie... disjointed story lines great action... expecially the kid made it even better... we wanted mad max 2 wetin concern us with furiosa story

Movies I watched this week:

1. Inside Out 2: this could definitely be in contention for my 5th best animated movie of all time. Very energetic and one of the best movies you could watch with a child of any age. Not as tearjerking as the first but fun all together. A classic Pixar movie - I hope they leave the woke bull shit and make a general movie - for every family

2. Despicable Me 4: the best despicable movie ever imo- no context - no plot - just moving pictures with a lot of colours
7.5/10

3. Trap: first half of this movie is excellent : the rest is meh - the dialogue is just so bland and NPCish like every Shyamalan movie.
6/10

4. Deadpool and Wolverine: shut off your brain and just enjoy this movie and you wont be disappointed. Fantastic action sequences- the cameos are cameoing😂😂😂😂 but in some scenes have a lot of heart.
SPOILER: there's a scene that's so amazing and teardropping where Wolverine rants and says Deadpool is dumb and I loved that scene.
I'm definitely rewatching

You're right in a sense but in terms of watching it with a little kid like I did- you'd know they could rewatch the movie a billion times and not get tired😂. But as an adult, if you turn your brain off you'd enjoy it

Disappointment really can be a blessing in disguise. My spoiler-dodging powers failed me with Deadpool and Wolverine but I now realize that if I had seen that movie at the cinema, I'd either have passed out and entered a coma or had to be admitted into a psychiatric hospital cos people fit think say my reactions na pure craze.

There needs to be a legal limit on the amount of fan service allowed in a single movie cos D&W could make a brother overdose on fan service.

I am now channeling all available funds to watching the BluRay release at home. Going to make it something of an event cos Ryan Reynolds went above and beyond with this one which is why he'll always be my GOAT.

as in, I honestly forgot about plot or anything that has to do with the movie. I just focused on the mindless action, the gore, humor and of course, Deadpool being a total asshole.
