Agbalowomeri: For the records; Onegentleguy does NOT operate any other handle aside this one. I guess your conscience must be hitting hard on you, which is why you're looking to take out the attention. ...everyone knows you operate several handles. Even Andrea Bocelli can see it! Change your ways dude! |

onegentleguy: Further update on VERITASKAP... Hanging man on the DTF after a momentum push towards the ELA. Could this infer a temporal pause? Not really! The M/WTF is clearly pointing to something. Interestingly, some would've booked approx 15% from the price volatility in the last 2 hours of trade today. (sold and bought back a bit of a higher vol than they had prior to market open) ...but that's if they reentered @ N1.13 anyway. With over 103M units exchanging hands today... MtD vol (ref: just 8 days of activity) already challenges it's preceding month vol, maybe the driver of this VEhicle can move on steadily. ...especially now that more passengers appears to have joined in, with some even hanging by the bumper. Maybe the journey from Surulere to VGC can be smoother. Again, NOT an investment advice. It is well |

aj8: I tried your common sense formular on Total using the current half year EPS. The entry price calculated is N96 which is far below the current price which I think is a good entry price. help me confirm if my calculation is correct. H1 EPS is N60. |

Tayo2k7: I think it depends on your reason for trading/buying the stock. If for instance, it's for your grandchildren, then just buy right and hold till whenever that may be. The problem with this is that some stocks, and a good number, would swing up but swing down and you end up losing whatever profits gained. But you still would take home something if it's a dividend-paying stock or else if it is like Oando that once hit N200…surely those that bought it then will not be as excited as those jumping in recently. For me, I use percentage appreciation or simply price gains..E.g for percentage anything from 20-30 percent I start to take profits off the table by selling the units that give what that gain translates as. My most recent example is Veritaskap which I bought again at 0.93 after the initial 0.55. Using my entry of 0.93, the difference from the 1.24 it hit today gave a 0.31 difference. I multiplied the 0.31 by my total holding at that reference price of 0.93 ( 2,955,000 ) which gave 916,050.00 (0.31 x 2,955,000) I therefore sold 738,750 units at 1.24 and banked. Should the price fall significantly below this point, I would simply buy back or better still apply to another more profitable trade. However, for stock mega caps I decide on the price gain that to me is profitable e.g. N2-4 gain in UBA, Zenith Bank, GTCO, etc. could fetch as much as N200k income less deductions of commissions. I would also buy back if it falls well below that price I took some profits or apply funds elsewhere. For a Re-entry to be profitable, it must at least cover twice the commission and yet add extra units above what was sold. 15 Likes 4 Shares |

Heishere: The calculation is not for the entry price. Will do the maths for Total ( for both that based on Eps and that based on dividend payment ) for you and paste it here later. Kindly go through my earlier posts. ( a) H1 x 2 x 4 = Common Sense Valuation (b) Dividend x 10 Apply whichever is higher. If the current price is significantly below that Value then likely to appreciate to that price in the future. Common Sense. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The okpai power plant included in the Oando/naoc deal is times 2 of gerugu power plant. This is only power plant in the deal, not to talk of the oil and gas assets plus becoming an upstream operator. Oando has not yet started the movement, wait until they walk into naoc offices and start taking control |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by aj8(m): 6:52pm On Aug 09 |
aj8: Common Sense Strategy for Total Energies. Target is N480.00 minimum and if by x5 of EPS = N600 . Hence range is N480-N600. Still has at least 10% upside from current price based on EPS x 4. However if they pay dividends of more than N30.00 , price may attain the upper limit of the range. The current price is N427.70. Still has about 10% + from lower of the range. 4 Likes 1 Share

sterlingD: My reference price when called was about N10.50. Current price today is N11.70. Here is the calculation based on the strategy H1=3.77 FY est =3.77 x 2 = 7.54 FY x 4 = 7.54 x 4 = 30.00 approximately 75% 0f N30 = N22 That’s my target. If they pay total dividends of N1.00 or more. So My Target is N22.00 Please do your DD . 4 Likes |
