Oh thanks a lot. I requested already but I didn’t exactly pick all the options you listed. I’ll just go ahead and request another one. Thanks a lot [quote author=JMG12 post=131435750]This is actually for GCMS notes via CBSA - Go to Google, search ATIP - Pick the first option from the list of results - when the page opens, click on the next - |

Hello guys I trust we re doing great. Please my niece is a registered midwifery (Nurse that graduated from college) in Nigeria and she is currently working/practicing. Recently she started some training on care work to take advantage of the PR IRCC advertised this year for foreign care workers but her challenge now is Nurse and Midwifery portal is down and they are unable to certify her that she is a practicing nurse in Nigeria so WES evaluation may not be possible. I want her to apply for Personal Supporr Worker (PSW) in Canada but I don't know if Visa Officer will grant her study permit should she get an admission as we may not be able to defend her returning back to Nigeria which is always the basis for getting study permit visa approved. Other option is to go for her nursing course line but we re looking at the cost which will be more expensive. I need am advice please for those who have applied for PSW what did you tell the visa officer as the reason you re studying in your SoP because PSW doesn't sell in Nigeria or Africa to justify going to read in Canada and then returning home after graduation. Kindly advise. |

To apply for the PR caregiver program, you don’t have to be a nurse or have an education in healthcare. The minimum education requirement is secondary school. Note that a job offer from an employer in Canada is required to apply. I disagree with you that PSW does not warrant travelling abroad for studies. We have had success with PSW applicants. You can argue that a PSW from the school will enrich you with adequate and informed knowledge, which will be revered in Nigeria and help you attain an enviable position. However, applying for PSW with nursing credentials will make the officer scrutinize her purpose of visit, as PSW appears redundant concerning her nursing credentials. Someone working in a healthcare facility without a related education would be an ideal candidate for PSW. You cannot accompany your wife as a worker if she goes for PSW. Jeboy: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by frank2zee: 10:17pm On Aug 11 |
seunpas: Your wife should go first then you join her later through SOWP. However, I don’t think that amount would be sufficient for her as most universities have increased their tuition deposit and are keen on the payment before offering you PAL. Just add more money and let her go first. |
