Dialogue doesn't put pressure on the FG.

Don't mind sreamsense. Dialogue is actually the preference of government because it can go on forever in a meaningless roundabout way.

This bastard of a man is been used by external forces to destabilize Nigeria as visibly shown during the flopped protest, and he is also been used by internal forces to incite looting, destruction of life and property with the intention of truncating democracy by inviting the military to take over, since they - Atikuthief and PandoraObi failed to win democratically. He and his cohorts and zombie followers will still be disgraced and put to shame.

Sowore misleading simple people. Protest should be against the root of all evils in Nigeria, thst is 1999 constitution. He knows it, why is he not focusing on that?

But it can remove a ruling president. The message ahead of 2027 is clear. That's what the protest has been able to achieve. That's the greatest problem this protest has also solved. If you like, give the north who gave Tinubu a consolatory vote last year 1m naira each, they'd never make same mistake again, likewise those hit by the current regime of hunger nationwide

Gbam. Thank you very much. And thats actually a very very important thing.
As things stand, Bola Tinubu will face an uphill task in any future election in Nigeria. To say that he has become unpopular is an understatement: the population now see him as their enemy.

Now I know that this man does not care because of the arrogance of power - he will attempt to swindle his way as usual, and Nigeria being what it is, he jolly well may succeed. Another problem is that one cannot trust the Nigerian electorate: it has proven its stupidity too many times. It has the ignominous habit of going to lick up what it has vomitted also.

Nonetheless, whatever the case may be, 2027 has become far less sure for the frog eyed antediluvian cripple fouling up the air in Aso Rock at this time.

Go on with your protest, I owe you no "RIP" if you are shot on sight or via accidental discharge. Compensation your family will get for killing you will not buy two bags of rice, and if I find out my money is even part of one given to your family for compensation, I would mind getting lawyer to get my own change for me because you decided to use your brain as a walking stick instead. I don't pray death for you, it is not your portion; I am only warning you not to shorten your life span for someone like Sowore indirectly fighting political interest over his consistent losses

Anybody serious about protest should lead with their families and March to aso rock and National Assembly complex . That sowore is a clown 🤡
sreamsense:
Sowore is hiding under protest to show his last presidential election failure and frustration using ignorant ones ready to die like fowls for his intrinsic and hidden political agenda. He could not even pronounce "5-minutes standing ovation for those that died like fowls for nothing. He hides his family and children abroad asking ignorant ones to protest and risk their lifes. How many solutions had the previous protest solved than increasing more hardship and promote death?

Every organizer including Sowore must make sure his 10 family members including himself, his wife, all his children and extended family members must be flown to Nigeria to lead the protest for us. There is enough time to process their traveling documents, Tinubu has computerized the process. No room for excuse! Those people that their family members died in the just concluded protest are in mourning mood as he fixes another protest date, and those arrested are abandoned to rotten behind police cells without any standing ovation for them. They are now on their own, if you allow Sowore to shorten your life-span through senseless protest, blame your senseless brain.

Try to see their 10 family members each protesting before you joy, otherwise; if you join, and you die willingly or by accidental discharge, I owe you no "RIP" because you purposely made your choice to commit self-suicide. Be warned and be wise! Dialogue has no expiring date, let's keep using it till we are heard!

Protest cant solve the problems in Nigeria. If you like, protest for 1 year, petrol price won't fall to #180 per litre

How can the exchange rate be $/1590 and you expect petrol to be #180 per litre. Naira needs to start strengtning before price will fall

That is the spirit. If things don't improve by October another protest.
NLC greed and corruption is what put us in this mess too. If after those successful strikes and FG promises and fail they go and embark on protest when FG fails , all government will sit up

This man is indirectly working for Tinubu.
Why would he make this statement as if to imply the protest has ended.

Tinubu has secured a total blackout on coverage of the protests on Tv newspapers and online. That does not mean the protest is not continuing.

Protestors must change tact . I suggest 24-7 protest, with no meeting points in particular , just remain on the streets day and night, using chants and whistles to let everyone know . Make the streets (especially of Abuja) your new home and if you can do your chanting and whistling any time of the day that you are able to.

Every Nigerian should trek or bus to Abuja now and simply remain on any street chanting and whistling

Nigeria currently does not have the capacity to defend the naira against the dollar by pegging.

How many dollars una think say una get

When governments do this, they are not necessarily "defending" the currency by throwing dollars into the system. Pegging is a different concept altogether and operates more closely to fiat. It is not unknown in the world.

Here are some examples of countries with pegged exchange rates:

Pegged to the US Dollar:
Middle East: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates
Caribbean: Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU)
Africa: Djibouti, Eritrea
Asia: Hong Kong

I did not say Nigeria does not have the capacity to peg the dollar, i said nigeria does not have the capacity to defend the naira at the rate which you guys want it pegged.

Pegging will lead to artificial scarcity which will lead to roundtripping which willl still increase the dollar.

Allow market forces determine price

Go and ask Jonathan. Despite his spending spree and power of incumbency, when things were still better, he still lost. Don't forget that in a hurry. He may get some consolatory votes in the South West, excluding lagos, but certainly not in the remaining parts of Nigeria. It will he worse in the north, even if he bribes them more than Jonathan did

There is a way it can be orchestrated to avoid this and it will settle after a while around the pegged price, even the black markets will settle around it.

Amen. I realy hope so.

But you see the thing is this. This guy is not gentleman mumu Jonathan. This guy is a proper gangstar. So this guy may not be interested in buying votes or anything. This guy will get the INEC Chair to announce the results he wants even if only his wife voted for him. And he will use frog eyes and look at everybody and say yes? What can you do? Do your worst. That is what I suspect of this guy.
