For those wondering why the kidnappers left him with his phone; they only allowed him use the phone to post about the ransom collection. What he posted was 1st scrutinised, else he would have given info about their locations and other details that will aid security forces to rescue them.

The message he posted is enough to get the criminals and rescue them if indeed we have true security agencies in the country. Sadly, none of them is trained for the job or even interested in the job, except their own criminal business activities

What if this is a pseudo Twitter account that wants to use this tragic incident as an opportunity to make moneyโ€ฆ

Anything is possible in this country
Lol, no scammer is stupid enough to try that... Punishment for kidnapping isn't same with fraud.

since when does kidnappers leave smartphones with their victims and asking them to tweet.... if Nigeria was probably structured... the ip will just be tracked that's all
I have been in that situation myself. They only give you the phone the phone to make calls and SMS to your family and friends for ransom then after that they will take the phone from u and switch off till any day they choose to repeat same procedure. They can waste of ur life if you try to play smart. That's the country we find ourselves in. I pray for their urgent release

Ideally this phone should be tracked and the victims rescued immediately! It's painful how these kinds of things keep happening in Nigeria, God please show us mercy

I donโ€™t trust everything happening in Nigeria anymore. Everybody is looking for money to ball. People now kidnap themselves to raise money for enjoyment.

That was how someone doubted that doctor on the Kaduna highjacked train until she was dead before they believed her.

Agreed.

But you would also agree, that this skit makers are becoming more daring/stewpid by the day with an aim to gather followers/clicks and the likes.

Idiot. He's in the kidnapper's den and he couldn't post location. But when they're flexible the can post "Kenny at lekki with 99 others" . These children are so so stupid.

Two things are involved: either they children orchestrated their own kidnap or the Nigerian Intelligence Agency is a flop - the Agency can simply track the location of that message through it's ip address.
Nigeria can ban Twitter from her cyber space. She can ban Facebook from her cyber space. She can arrest you for hatespeech. But she can not track a post from a kidnapped kid phone? Nonsense!

Anyways, whether a woman is a medical doctor, a billion or a philanthropist, once she's not a virgin, don't marry her. Just fvck her and let her go meet another fvcker when you're tired of her overused pvssy. Women don't forget the first peniiss to enter their pvssy. If you are not the first to fvck her, you will always come second in her life.

If you marry a woman who is not a virgin, you will train another man's child because she will definitely fvck her ex the moment he shows up to her on Facebook or in the market.

Finally, do not pay bride price, sponsor wedding ceremony and take care of in-laws just to have a woman who was fvcked by another man with just two eggs and indomie. Only a fool would do that. Are you the fool?

Be wise. Be the first !

You wise like this and Tinubu they use ur head like condom ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜…

Is there nothing else in your little brain other than virgin and sex? Was your mother a virgin before she met your father? I ask you is your sister still a virgin? Always focused on woman matter. What sort of man are you if women issue dominates your thinking? Why can't you contribute something tangible to this forum? Always disturbing this forum, bloody Lily-livered, archaic homo insipien

So, will the kidnappers now be calling every tom, d!ck and Harry with their phones are tracked?
Get this straight, those Nigerian kidnappers will only use one victims phone to call another's friends and family for demands. And they'll only let victims turn on phones when needs for outbound communication arises.
Coupled with your failing Security and IT infrastructure, that's why they seem so invisible, effective and almighty.
