God saved you. Please don't always listen to monkey Hunters. OANDO don cast was put forward to cause fear and push the price low for them to buy again after selling.

For me, I thank God for those that panicked and sold as it made me buy cheaper than I expected. Sold at #48 and dividend the money into three, bought 1/3 at #41, bought another 1/3 at #34 and another at #29. And today we are back to #43. That is how we roll. OANDO will go places

was it through bank or broker that you purchased. I went to stanbic and they kept saying it is only that one of 2 or 3 yrs that an individual can buy.i was not ok with about 19% interest for 3 yrs (sovereign national bond)

This one you are now looking for bond to buy,it seem the money you accumulate after Oando sale is too much. Omo grin my brother want to play safe now.

Is it also possible that a broker with sell orders from one client can sell to another of his clients no matter where that client's order is in the queue. I got some units sold to me today even though I was not at the top of the queue. I am suspecting that maybe those shares came from my broker.

Yes, I learnt there is in house consideration first before out house. For example, Morgan capital will sell to their customers that are on the queue first and only consider others from other brokers if there is no customer of theirs that is in the line. So the rule is sell to house first before other houses, so that all the commissions( buy and sell) will be in your purse. So it is possible to see someone at number 15 filled before someone at number 1, in that case the seller is from the same house as number 15 while number 1 is from different house. This is my toddler understanding of why and if grin

NNPC-NNPCL-OVH

I am glad that ‘The Truth’ about the tussle for the soul of the Petroleum Industry is beginning to reveal itself.

First, we find NNPC (a government/public company) transition to NNPCL (a private company) without any form of disclosure.

Next, NNPCL claimed to acquire OVH Energy Marketing (the second largest retail franchise at the time) to make NNPC Retail the largest retail franchise in sub-Saharan Africa.

Next, we saw is OandO plc (a debt-ridden company) buying out prime assets of an established company.

Next, we see NNPC Retail [literally] dissolved without being wound up and OVH Energy Marketing happens to be the resulting entity [a subsidiary of OandO plc]

In simple terms OandO plc has become probably the only fully established Integrated Energy Company in Nigeria.

All these might seem like a French roulette but it is a well-arranged domino…the final piece being a REFINERY!

Use the regular coupon to buy stock, real estate, euro bond etc.

At N10 million invested you are sure of N2.2 nillion for the next 10 years

During the 10 years there will be bear markets in the stock market and you can use to coupons to buy shares at cheap prices.

You can use your bond of N10 million as collateral for a loan of about N7 million and also use your coupon to service the loan

The opportunity to compound at 22% for 10 years is not easy, if it is possible at 22% the N10 million will grow to over N70 million in 10 years

Is it really compounding? You will earn 22M in interest after 10 years. Plus the capital, that will be 32m. Let's hope the Nigerian economy stabilizes otherwise, the money will be useless.

With stocks, you can get 100% thrice within the 10 years which would 80m conservatively grin

Your math is rusty, compounding as in the ability to reinvest you coupons for the next 10 years at 22%
