I had same accident experience last December. But my only luck is that the both people on the passengers side had already left before the accident.

I swayed to save myself. The whole of the passenger side of my car damaged. From opened roof, to broken widescreen. I ran into a parked truck at night

Well said . . .But then, lifestyle can be a factor. Though the report is not quite clear about what actually led to the accident, but we will be doing ourselves a great favour if we do not drink and drive under the influence of alcohol. I club, I drink but will never drive if I have had too much alcohol. . .Then again there's no part of the report where it is stated that the accident happened due to excessive drinking . . .Just be safe out there!
