It's a pity that most people don't know how economy works. Some are already blaming the farmer cum seller. Let me give a simple analysis of what happens to whoever cares to listen. You are living in an environment wherein you produce some things and buy some you can not produce. Assuming there is a hike in the chains of what you cannot produce, to maintain status quo, won't you hike the price of what you produce? As things are going, it may get tougher as time goes on, but God will cater for His own. 3 Likes |

Orinechi: Okay, I should produce as a nation or country? I am talking about Nigeria a whole, you are talking of me... The most things we use are imported... |

Maybe demand is low. It could be 1 CAD per plantain elsewhere which is 5 CAD for 5 at $3.28/1kg or $1.49/ 1lb and average weight of 0.33 KG. AirBay: |

Namaster: Buhari is the number one CANCER ON NIGERIA, right from December 31, 1983. A lot of development projects in Nigeria were stopped after Buhari's 1983 military take over of government. Many of those projects are still uncomplicated till today. 1 Like |
