Passport will most likely be ready for collection on or slightly before 20 working days since 20 working days is the current processing time frame.

I applied for France study visa, had my campus France interview on the 7th August, TLScontact and submitted my application documents on the 14th August 2024. I received a message from TLS to come pick up my passport on the 19th August. Lo and behold, my visa was refused/denied on the reason "There is sufficient evidence and serious grounds to establish that you would stay in France for purposes other than those for which the study visa was requested"

Document submitted are:
3 months SOA of my school where I happen to be the director and sole signatory to the account,

Did you per chance attach your personal bank statement?

I applied on the 1st of August and received collection email from Tlscontact on last Friday, that's 23 days and 17 working days, I believe you will receive collection email today. I just got my passport this morning.

Hello everyone

I am a new ESSCA student who will resume in late September 2024. I need accommodation asap.
I have a monthly rent budget of 500 euros. Yes, I have searched Edupast and other referred sites but they don't have accommodation in my budget

Does anyone here, know someone who can help with what I have?

Thank you!

*Visa Alert*
1st Schengen application
Biometrics - 1st of August
Pick-up email - 23rd of August.
17 working days, 23 calendar days

Type of Visa - France schengen visa

I have previously visited UK in 2019 and India in 2015, I mentioned the visas and included copies, also mentioned it in my Sop, I also made sure to explain every doubt like my hotel reservation was for 2 instead of 1 person which I contacted the customer service to change it but they never got back to me. I made a table of my proposed itinerary in my Sop, stating activities for each day.

I now tend to believe that if one receives early pick-up email it's a rejection unless the applicant is a frequent traveler.

Congratulations ! In addition to the table, did you book any tourist activities and attach proof of so doing? I am submitting tomorrow and wondering if it is necessary to do that especially as most requires payment and I do not want to pay until I get a visa approval. Would appreciate a response.

Visa Alert

Family of 4
Submitted 1st of August
Received collection mail 26th of August.
Picked passport this morning
Got mine as a frequent traveller but my wife and kids were refused stating " there are reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory of the member states before the visa expires "

Just tired of these people. 🤦‍♂️
