If Osimhen ends up staying at Napoli, it means he has rejected two huge offers from Saudi for multiple summers, no one should question why he plays football or call him greedy after this. Also good that he’s not listening to people like Ideye ‘my wife packed my bags immediately’ like say you sabi play ball 😏

- Maresca told Victor Osimhen that he’s going to be a starter & the club plan to fight and win the Premier league.
- Also told him he has been an admirer for years & he’s needed to complete the Chelsea puzzle.

Victor respectfully declined & decided to stay at Napoli. It’s over.

Via Osimhen close ally

It’s not even the bench but the humiliation. He removed Napoli from his bio few months ago, went on an interview rant saying that he has made a decision on leaving napoli earlier this year and it’s final. Consequently, him napoli manager and president also had a fall out and things will get worse if he remains at Napoli. If he stays at napoli, it will be very a hostile/disrespectful environment except he publicly apologizes

There was no need for Osi to sign that extension.

Many of you said it. Leave when the applause is loudest. You’d rather leave one year early and the fans want you to stay than to go one year later and the fans want you to get out.

He should just keep his head down, focus on his football and see if he can get a January move to the Prem.

Sha sack his agent today.

do you want him to go to Saudi?. At this stage there’s nothing he can do about it anymore. He needs to stay put in Napoli and face whatever comes than going to Saudi to waste his talent .

Don't mind them. Make Napoli loose 3 straight games without him. Fans go stone the coach & president join.

I remember the season they won the scudetto when Osimhen was injured and raspadori was firing
People were already saying raspadori will bench Osimhen when he comes back from the injury
But we all know how that tale ended

Simply put. Lukaku will not give Napoli the fear factor or cutting edge which OSI has. The coach can send OSI to d reserve. But na him go use him hand return am to first team after dem don collect like 6:0 from Inter.

Obviously u didn't read my post well nor understood my point,
your post should be directed to Komekn.

Komekn tried to undermind Osimhen's AFCON performance because he scored just one goal, then i posed the Kanu's riddle to him,

Try to slowly read my post u quoted again, and u will grasp my point,or go back and read the previous post.

Let me educate you as you lack context and are overwhelmed with emotive preference and sentiment.

Two questions

1. Is VO a quintessential striker strictly speaking 🗣️ a number 9 , nothing else and nothing more.❓

2. Yekini, Ikpeba, Emeniki, Ideye, Obagoal, Ighalo have been the quintessential number 9 striker for the SE, over the past decades. And most recently VO.❓

In my humble opinion Amokachi, Kanu, Okocha, were NEVER strikers and quintessential number 9s for the SE.

You are essentially making no sense to make a comparison 😞 of VO with Kanu, Okocha, Amokachi, etc.

Accept the forking Chelsea deal. If he performs the first season, his value will sky rocket and he has all the leverage. Usually, clubs give players one grace season to become acclimatized with the team. You’re acting like what Chelsea is offering is peanuts. I don’t know why our people are so money hungry

After all the speculation, it looks like the Saudi move isn't happening. But refusing Chelsea's offer—what's the plan here?

You're going to sit out for three months, and then what? Who do you expect to come in with a bid after that? How is $130k a week considered disrespectful when you scored 15 goals last season? Let's be realistic.

If it's about the money, the Saudi deal was there for the taking. If it's about making a name for yourself, you should have signed with Chelsea and proved your worth.

But refusing both deals? Especially knowing that Conte isn't going to play you—that doesn't make sense, and It's really disappointing.

As I mentioned earlier, someone like him shouldn't have an agent like Calender or what is his name, or friends like those twitter ignoramus telling him Chelsea deal is disrespectful! What a shame!
Even Sterling was honorable to know when to leave!

Even if Napoli requested for additional $5m, can't you ask the Saudis to pay and remove it from your salary later?

Character, and who you surround yourself with is very important in this life!
Nevertheless, I do wish him all the BEST
Marjoribanks:
I don't understand how Osimhen is surrounded by people who are adverse to making good decision for him.
Signing that extension is nothing short of greed!

How would you not play for the club paying your salary when you are still there., and searching for a move.

How would clubs assess you to know your level of fitness?
How do you expect clubs to cough out over 100m not 30/40m for a you without a 90 minutes football in 4 months?

How?

Most of them are suffering from poverty syndrome. They don’t know that money will always be available but your prime last for a few seasons. By next year, another world class striker will emerge
was Oscar also suffering from poverty syndrome?

Maybe we should start blaming Osimhen. His attitude may be a big factor here.

You can see that Osimhen is undervalued. So how does going to Saudi improve it besides just making a shit ton of money for himself? If he has a poor season at Chelsea he can still go to Saudi Arabia. On the flip side, spending two years in Saudi Arabia will devalue whatever he has left in Europe. Osimhen will never be a starter at a top side ever again if he moves to the Kingdom.

We have strikers like Mitrovic banging goals in KSA but no value in Europe.

No. Osimhen is not Undervalued. Napoli was just out to frustrate him.

His move to PSG was 90% done, agreement reached both on the club and player side. He was reportedly on his way for medicals when Napoli pulled the plug.

He had other EPL deals outside Chelsea but Napoli also pulled the plug.

The Saudi deal had always been there with Napoli agreeing a fee in principle with them, but his reflectance to go to Saudi is what kept it pending this long. His hope was Chelsea was going to meet him half way on the wage issue. When he finally gave a greenlight today Napoli renegade on the initial agreement to frustrate that too.

Every attempt pointed towards frustrating every other deal that offered Napoli more fees in transfers and more wages to Victor in a bid to condemn Victor to choose Chelsea who weren't willing to pay him is worth wage wise.

He's now decided to instead stay out at Napoli.

These are the facts.

You're too quick to type responses. Sometimes you got to calm the f*ck down, understand the fucking point before replying. What does undervalued mean then?

Why did Napoli scrub the PSG deal? Was it not Transfer fee that was the disagreement?

You are totally wrong
If any club was ready to pay his release clause there was nothing Napoli could do to frustrate the deal

PSG and the other EPL clubs you talked about were not ready to pay his release clause
Even Al Ahli did not meet his release clause
