My heart just dey ache since yesterday. The report didn't say Osimhen will be on the bench, It said he will not be part of the squad.

Na just say he go still dey collect him salary dey console me, but me not watching Victor Osimhen play? That's a big heartbreak 💔

I didn't think Chelsea wanted Osimhen, when they decided to make Osimhen's deal separate from Lukaku was when I started getting suspicious, they have managed to sell their deadwood and not get an unwanted player in return, shrewd business but Napoli are the biggest losers in all of this

No. Osimhen is not Undervalued. Napoli was just out to frustrate him.

His move to PSG was 90% done, agreement reached both on the club and player side. He was reportedly on his way for medicals when Napoli pulled the plug.

He had other EPL deals outside Chelsea but Napoli also pulled the plug.

The Saudi deal had always been there with Napoli agreeing a fee in principle with them, but his reflectance to go to Saudi is what kept it pending this long. His hope was Chelsea was going to meet him half way on the wage issue. When he finally gave a greenlight today Napoli renegade on the initial agreement to frustrate that too.

Every attempt pointed towards frustrating every other deal that offered Napoli more fees in transfers and more wages to Victor in a bid to condemn Victor to choose Chelsea who weren't willing to pay him is worth wage wise.

He's now decided to instead stay out at Napoli.

These are the facts.

Just like VO you seem to have an over inflated valuation of who VO is , he is demanding wages simply not justified by his performances.

He has had one incredible season and the rest season have been above average where he has never scored more than 15 goals.

He is not Haaland, Mbappe, Kane, etc. he is very good but I think he now believing his own hype. I fear 😨 he may given himself a bad reputation with his demands.

Chelsea have a new wage structure and he his not willing to concede, literally all the top teams in Europe 🌍 dropped him.

The only option was Saudi Arabia and he could not find a way to compromise 🤔

He is going back as unwanted and with true competition in the name of Lukaku who is also a quintessential number 9 with undoubted pedigree that exceeds VO.

He is going to really have to humble himself and fight relentlessly to get into the team,it's not going to be easy but it's achievable. But he must first come down from his over inflated ego and high horse 🐎.

Some apologies will be needed from some careless word's spoken in anger 😡 etc.

Chelsea spent 60million euros this same window on an attacking winger who only bagged 3 goals across all competitions last season but couldn't even match up to the 65-75M Al Ahli offered and could not even set a wage of at least 200k per week for one of the top 5 strikers on the planet.

Osimhen, according to Transfermrkt is the 4th most valuable CF on the planet behind Haaland, Mbappe and Lautaro Martinez.

This is who we are talking about but because he is Nigerian, una no rate am enough. Shame!

Race and nationality have nothing to do with it.

VO has had one breakout season where he won the golden boot in Seria A , never scored more than 15 league goals in a season and you think he is on par with Haaland and Mbappe.

Even if he joined Chelsea they were NEVER going to WIN THE EPL .

You guys are not being realistic.

Just shut up and face front, this banned bot. I don't engage with wannabe analysts like you who make noise rather than critically analyse. You are still pained you never got a Jersey or attention from Osimhen. Rubbish. 🤣

Bannedlargejr:

You must be Deluded. It’s yes men like you that are responsible for this nonsense. Chelsea has a new wage structure and they’re selling all their players above that structure and you want them to break the structure because of one player? You guys think everywhere is Nigeria with your emotional biased. All he had to do was sign, perform in his first season and he has all the leverage to siphon more money

A lot of analysis on the osimhen situation. One thing folks are leaving out is the power of the Napoli ultras and fans. Osimhen is revered at Napoli. Conte and ADL should pray they win games home and away. Don’t be surprised to hear chants of Osimhen at games when things turn bad. Osimhen relax collect your money.

I read in an article once that, "A Scudetto in Naples is the equivalent of five league titles at AC Milan or Juventus".

I appreciate it so much as well. Now I can't wait for January.

Odunayaw:
I got to know ADL because of Arkadiusz Milik. Blinded by the turnaround of fortunes he brought to Napoli he has eulogized himself tone deaf that he thinks he is some Tzar.

I only appreciate that Osimhen shone there

Osimhen did everything for Chelsea.

Put Al Ahli on hold.
Refused to accept their project despite them agreeing on personal terms.

In fact Napoli only increased their offer because Osimhen frustrated them to run to Toney.
When Napoli saw the amount paid for Toney, they demanded more.

But Chelsea wouldn't compromise.

I laud Chelsea actually.

This means all these signings they are making are all on less than 100k weekly.

Meaning one Haaland can pay 5 Joao Felix, Nkunku, Palmer, Caicedo and Enzo.

That is a well-run club.

However, they will lose these players once their performances outgrow this wages.

Africa's best player now in limbo and ostracised from his club.
No game-time in 6 months.

That’s one of the biggest errors that hasn’t been resonated in people head is that osimehn has only been a “One season wonder” thus far and Chelsea weren’t prepared to bread that wage structure for one player because it would damage the dressing room.

The dude has also clashed with Napoli billionaire president and conte is a master petty. At this point, Napoli being 20th might not be enough to see him in a napoli shirt except for some serious Apology tour and that might not be enough. Someone has to be the bigger guy between osimehn, napoli president and contee.

And the Lukaku you are hyping, how many times has he scored above 15 goals in a season?

They both played in Serie A last season, Lukaku ended up with 13 goals while Osimhen had 25 despite the AFCON absence and injuries.

Osimhen doesn't own anybody an apology... why do you keep painting him as some kind of villian?what did he do wrong.... it is Napoli that are supposed to apologize to him... he came and helped them win their first league title in decades (u can pull out your Kvara was the star man cards if you wish), and all he has gotten from them is disrespect.... ADL and Napoli can go f### themselves... at the end, they will be the one to lose out....
If u think Osmhen is the problem, maybe u should remember that at some point, Napoli had the likes of Ancelloti, Higuain, Cavanni, Insinge, Koulibaly, Mertens, Milik,Hamsik and they couldn't win sh*t....

Another yes man spotted. For one, the tiktok incident should had never escalated past the dressing room. He went ahead and removed napoli name/jersey from his bio. The president rewarded him with a new contract. He now granted an interview clearly stating that, he is done with napoli and has made his decision to leave (infuriated their fans). Nigerians were cheering him at this moment and expecting the grass to be green at the other side. At this point, The only solution is to humble himself and apologize to his teammates, fans, coach and owner. If not, N.A. only God can intervene
