To be honest they should have done that during the protracted negotiation period last season, even before they bought the club. Maybe because many of them were still in other jobs sha, but then why extend his contract.

Around Feb/March last season when they finally took over i was expecting Nagelsmann, Flick, or De Zerbi to get the job. The way it is looking now, only De Zerbi remains as an option out of the 3. Berarda and Ashworth need to earn their pay now and get someone that can take us back to winning ways.

Remember INEOS had to put their own together first. Ashworth didn't happen until later around June when the likes of Flick had already gone to Barca. Berrada too was on a gardening leave and started work beginning of July. They talked to Tuchel but a deal couldn't materialise.

As for ETH they didn't give him a new contract per say, just an extension by a year. I think he'll be gone cos Berrarda who came from the standards at City won't keep up with the mess.

Ultimately Rashford is cooked. And it's a very disturbing matter when the best player in your starting lineup is a cooked Rashford.

Put Garnacho on the left and he'd threaten TAA more. There's a base level I expect from our wingers talk less of the most senior winger we parade, Rashford comes short of the level.

He put in two good crosses and that was it. He had many chances to run at TAA who we all know is not the strongest when tasked with defending but he didn't even bother. Now compare that to Salah and Diaz.

I choose to cut Garnacho some slack because he is more dangerous from the left than when he is out on the right which is not his favorite position and the fact that he is young and still developing his game. If Garnacho was up against TAA, I am certain he'd have caused him a whole lot of problems.

Rashford earns in the same bracket as Salah and likely more than Diaz but his effect on the game is minimal.

Truth be told, man u didn't do badly. I watched a repeat of the match. In the opening period, the team started well putting Liverpool in their toes till those blunders by casemiro ruin the game. The game was balanced beside casemiro wasn't the only one who gave away the ball. Mainoo, zirkzee, collyer were guilty as charged. Giving away the ball and losing possession. Man u just had a bad day at the office
