See Evil charging Saint . I love the way the masses are being treated. Who tribalism epp. The politicians know how to use the bait of tribalism to catch the masses during every election period. It's a sure bait. You all will learn by force. Tinubu doesn't care if you exist or not 2 Likes 1 Share |

David Hundeyin likes feeding his minions with what they want to hear. I can see 9 counts, which includes transmission of classified memos/documents. If he's innocent, why did he try to flush his phone down the toilet as indicated in count 9? He's going to spend a lot of time in jail. 4 Likes |

Which kind thing be this? Charge for sponsoring protest and money laundering because he accepted money for the work done. Nigeria have gone low in the hands of desperate politicians. 1 Like |

sreamsense:In a saner clime, he will go home with billions of naira for unlawful detention, as all the charges preferred against him are all bailable cases. Well, we are almost tilting to be a banana Republic, anything goes in my country, Nigeria. Why should a person be detained for 28 days without charging him to court and your kind is rejoicing over it in a country with constitution. Remember when you point one finger at someone, the remaining 4 fingers are pointing at you back. A day of retribution is coming. 1 Like |

Now, he has the right to defend himself in court. Looking at the case against him, he would be lucky to get away with ten years in jail. It may be worse. That guy will be locked up for a very long time. 4 Likes 1 Share |

IfnobeGod20:That one is not even the most ludicrous of them all. Check out Charge #3 where he is accused under the Official Secrets Act of 1962. It is not inferred that he illegally obtained the information meaning he is covered under FOIA, and FOIA does not bar anyone who receives information on the government from retransmitting the same information to other members of the public. So, why in the world would the government think it would make sense to charge him for doing exactly that? 1 Like

Kobojunkieee: This has nothing to do with that. FOIA is not absolute in any part of the world. You can't access all information, else enemies of the state will have an advantage. 2 Likes 1 Share

Re: Investigative Journalist, PIDOM Charged With Promoting #EndBadGovernance Protest by Kobojunkieee: 11:38pm On Sep 02 |
timbabng:You can't access all information using FOIA, yes, however, in the case that you do gain access to information and then release it as a whistleblower, whistleblowing and stop-gap protection kick in. Both the FOIA and Corrupt Practices Acts of the ICPC provide coverage in those cases. 1 Like 1 Share |
