Hebrews 11:3 By faith, we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of visible things. The things seen were not created from the things that could be seen. Any man who plans based on his immediate environment and circumstances does not go far. A time will come when you will want to do it, but it might be too late. I strongly advise that you go for it. 2 Likes |

Karleb:Every industry likes experienced folks including those that explicitly require academic masters in addition with a bachelor degree (architecture is an example). Experience is loved everywhere and by everyone. That said, how come HRM is a lucrative role in Nigeria? HR is a cost centre and cost centres aren't lucrative. Even executive recruitment firms don't have HRMs as their highest paid staff. As for certification, CIPM is the relevant certification then SHRM. I'm just surprised how HRM is a highly paid role. How about engineering (software excluded)? 2 Likes |

My wife has a Masters degree in English Literature but she has never used it. She bakes Cakes and makes Small Chops for a living. And she makes good money from her catering business. I have a B.A Degree in History but I am a polymath. I have a lot of interest in Agriculture and Food Processing. I also write very well and can do different things easily. I don't believe in paper qualifications. Knowledge can be gotten via the Internet and YouTube videos these days. Masters Degree? Nah, for Me. Cheers. 1 Like |

Everybody is just mentioning TECH like it's everyone that is passionate about Tech It's just like saying everyone should do Teaching or Medicine if both pay N5M per month. In all, just ask the GOD Almighty, the Creator of the Universe, who knows the future to direct your path. 1 Like |

Gerrard59: I honestly do not know. I am really surprised too because I got to find out this year. I think the reason is because a lot of people do not know about it. There are companies springing up almost everyday even in this economy and the ones that are around also expands too. To me, HRM is the easiest qet-quick-rich scheme as per nigerian standard. You could study biro and pencil, then do a six-month HRM course online. Thereafter, you can get a HR intern or assistant job earning between #75k - #150k/m, the remote jobs tend to pay the lower end of the range. Once you have 1 - 3 yrs experience you are worth #200k - #500k/m or more, depending on the company and how good you are with job seeking and interviews. |

popweezy: Better decide what you want now? Do you want to be a lecturer? If NO look around the digital space. Look for people doing well in their fields and attache yourself. Because MSC is like bsc nowadays. Alot of people have it without getting the real value for it. Besides MSC is usually after you get a job or wealth of experience. Nowadays na people trying to escape the harsh reality or postpone it. When you start making money without MSC you would not even think about it. 1 Like |

The time I wanted to collect my original certificate in school. I met one professor that I know tho not from my department. If u see how this man was crying, that dey haven't paid Dem, that now dey are suffering., I deep hand in my pocket and gift him 20k. Come see how this man knelt down and thank me. A fucking goddam professor!!!. I stood there, and made a declaration that before any of my children go to university, must use one year to learn a trade or a skill, before any university education, I don't care any course u want to study. And it must end in bsc. A young man will be wasting his time reading books, oga get practical, practical and technical persons make things happen. If you studied engineering, after ur bsc, go join engineering company or an engineer that get work well, gets your hand dirty, built your portfolio, that is what's speaks for you. Not your cv. Imagine telling ur client that u are the one that designed so so so plaza, that is ur work screemming for you not even talking. What is fucking wrong with this generation of men self!!!!!!! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Liverpoolfc:Exactly.......people have to be very careful. A master's degree is an added advantage anywhere in the world. However it depends on the field, therefore the best thing the guy should do is get a professional qualification not academic qualification for his master's. In advance nations, Medical/Health, Education, Marketing & Sales will forever been in demand, whether Tech or no tech. I made sure before choosing a PG program, I checked/Researched the most paid professions in the world. And guess what? Medical/Health/Clinical jobs collected 25 out of 28 top paying jobs in USA. So people need to be very careful. If he wants is Masters, he should do it now before it's too late, my late mum is a perfect example, she waited until they wanted to promote her to ADNS(Assistant Director of Nursing Service) before she started her PGD in LAUTECH, but tragedy happened, My Dad Died the same year, hence she couldn't continue because she was emotionally, financially, mentally and physically down to do the PGD, hence she saw her mates and Juniors collecting their MSc in Nursing there-by becoming Directors and Whatnot. My mother had no choice than to retire as a CON(Chief Nursing Officer) a rank below the ADNS, she saw her mates and Juinors becoming Ogas. And there was nothing she could do about it. She was collecting 250,000 as of 2017, she told me If she did the masters and was promoted to ADNS, her salary would have been entering 600,000 minimum. As for me. I told myself I won't repeat my late mother's mistakes, I am currently doing a professional diploma in Education to make myself eligibilie to write (TRCN) a professional Certification for Education in Nigeria, and Will resume my PGDE in UNILAG this September by God's Grace and i will get my IGSCE certification(British Curriculum) form latest next month. The IGSCE certification will make me eligible to Teach British/USA Curriculum, anywhere in the world. God has been seeing me through so far, na to pay for this PGDE AND IGSCE CERTIFICATION fees, na wetin I dey pray to God to do for me right now. God no go shame me. Amen. 3 Likes |
