abduleez1:Would the fact that you watched it already knowing he'd appear in the next season have something to do with it? That show just seems like the face of what ESPIONAGE is all NOT ABOUT for me. So I low key hate it. I'd easily take Jack Ryan over it anyday anytime.Would've say espionage was one of its major genres. More like it had touches of espionage but never really fully explored or delved into it 2 Likes |

Rings of power season 2 episode 4 is a solid 8/10 for me. It may seems as though most folks do not understand the true meaning of an Adventure series or an adventure movie. This is why when i see ratings of the rings of power i just shake my head. This series is the all embodiment of what we call a fantasy adventure series, it's more of a family series than the normal fantasy adult shows that's all out there and this is why comparing this show to other shows like House of the dragons makes no sense at all, it means you totally don't know anything about this business. This show is unique on its own and brings nostalgic feelings as lovers of Lords of the rings and so far so good, this season two has been on point, reminds me so much of the Lords of the rings. I can't wait for the rest episodes to drop, this season two has been solid so far. 3 Likes |

Who's watching fight night, the million dollar heist Is it worth the watch? |
Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by abduleez1(m): 5:35pm On Sep 10 |
Kaycee7: Not really. I watched it on cable and local stations then, at times not linear. I just felt no high stakes for the TV show. There was one episode where I watched they kidnapped his daughter or was it his wife and they escaped with her iirc, I just felt na sakamanji. Nothing go shele. The show was too plastic feeling for me and I felt no connection or love for it. Wetin even dey make me watch it sometimes sef na cos of friends and the discussion about Jack Bauer In classrooms. The whole race against time to save A-muh-ri-cah was so cliche for me. That nonsense timer with it's loud SFX they vex me sef. I can even hear it now. ππ Bro, I watched parts of it then in my teenage years. The era I loved action, fights and all that and I still didn't really liked it then. Talk more of now when I have acquired a more refined taste in content. Watching it now, my experience might be actually worse. But you see that Prison Break, it's always gonna be a darling. First 3 seasons tho. |

Illusioneffect: I'd say its a matter of just you. I clearly remember most of what went down in ARCANE S2 even tho it's been two years now. Arcane isn't hype one bit. It's so fvvking good. Arcane can jostle and beat any animation of the last five years and win. I'd even classify it amongst AOT, JJK, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Blue Eye Samurai etc. I always regularly see Arcane hype and anticipation even before netflix announced its upcoming season few months ago. 1 Like |

Jazzman01: 24 is all Style and no substance. The perfect Vibes and insha'Allah candidate. There is no rankings worth its salt that you'd see 24 included as amongst the greatest TV shows of all time. That's to show you how forgettable it is. Even shows like Homeland, The Americans will easily enter top 50 contemporary shows of the last 20 years. I didn't even watch up to the part you said he assaulted the POTUS..... If I watch that scene I might smash the TV. I like some level of realism in my entertainment especially when you're talking about the topics that show focused on. When no be Dragon Ball Z I dey watch. His wanton disobedience of superior orders is a huge turn off. Even Tom Cruise Maverick character in Top Gun, as he's so reckless and insubordinate, ain't worse as Bauer. 1 Like |

The animation is excellent - even the story is well told but the story is very forgettable. It's over hyped bro- most of the reason Arcane is really popular is TikTok trends, you can't compare the story of Blue Eye Samurai to Arcane because of how interesting and really original the story is 1 Like |

Fight night: The million dollar heist, episode 1 to 3 is a solid 9/10 One word for these first three episodes is simply wow!! When i started watching the first episode, i never thought i will bingewatch all three episodes at a go. These series with all the gathering of black legends is simply amazing. This is like both a tutor class on muhammed Ali's visit to the united states, the million dollars robbery, race cards in usa, the police, drugs, gangsters, Mafia, prostitution, politics all in one series. This is the true colour of the united states of America, it's all about money, money and money. I can't wait for the rest episodes to drop, this is a GOATED series. |

Illusioneffect: It's a common thing with most Western animation except The Last Airbender and Korra. They are just too short and their events don't stand out in the long run. Praised but their plotlines are easily forgettable. Most anime don't run into this problem because they are mostly divided into arcs, so it's easier to recall what happened in each arc...e.g Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer etc... Even Chainsawman S1 was far more memorable than Arcane No one discusses Arcane online, they just praise it and remember it as being good. |

Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Baddestguyp(m): 10:04pm On Sep 10 |
Kaycee7: I don't think that's what he meant. He's saying the plotlines in the show are not memorable...not that the show is overrated. It's an issue we see with some shows whereby everyone remembers they were good, but no one remembers what happened in them. Most anime avoid this problem by dividing the story into arcs |

abduleez1: 24 is one of my favorite shows of all time. Surprised that you didn't like it. Personally I think season 1 is overrated and one of the weakest seasons. It had so many repititive plotlines with characters getting kidnapped and escaping so many times... |

armadeo: Β° Brodaman, Arcane is more into character development, the story is built towards a war, hopefully netflix won't Seppuku the war. Aot has a lifespan of 10 years spanning 4 seasons with so many filler episodes to remind you about the anime, I had to rewatch it yesterday to remind me why I love it. The story might lack action and suspense for some scenes because they're building something but I enjoyed everything about it just 2 episodes in, some of the dialogue will echo throughout the animeΒ° ***Jarchi***

Just finished Berserk, 1997. It is very good, despite its age. Now, there's a problem. There are other berserk series and I don't know the correct watch order, which one can be skipped and more importantly, which one continues the story from the 1997 series. |

Industry S03E05 Please tell me Yasmin is joking with what she said at the end of that episode, and that look? Na women like Yasmin dey put young niggas for trouble. Thank God, Robert understands she isn't his type disregarding how pretty she looks. So na so future of nations are decided inside one small room. Same thing happened in Succession S03 I think. It's the look of almost disgust on the face of Robert, nigga couldn't believe what he was seeing or hearing.s |
