Thanks for this. Jegede's plan to pay dividends without ceasing is a powerful one. But Japaul is a little pricey and risky now for new purchases in the market. Tempted to average up. Best not to sell instead, even if the price swings up should it swing up as it is looking good for long term investment.

I dropped initial info here two weeks ago, seems the news has cast in upper circles as it’s on full bid now. I will drop more info: they’re at SEC for an equity related transaction which should be completed before end of year. I quoted ~#60 as a target price but I think I misheard, now hearing ~#70 can be a reality. Do your own DD

Until the risk of Delisting is removed, Oando will remain a busy Monkey Dealing Market.
Monkey dealers will be buying and selling and re-buying and re-selling monkeys from and to each other until the bell rings, and it's time-up.
Then all dealers still with monkeys will be made to return them to the Cowboy at N7 per monkey regardless of size, weight or cost price.
Meanwhile smart and lucky dealers would have cashed out mid-market and rejoiced home with their loot.

I used the monkey trade fable to describe the high risk Oando gamble (JIJO) in the days before the Court ruling that minimized the fear of delisting and unleashed the great Oando Bull that has just created some of Nigeria's latest multi millionaire's.

Now that Honeywell flour mill has followed FMN in entering full bid, could it be the turn of NNFM?
A quick check shows NNFM is on full offer, even though they have a net asset per share of N36.90.
At today’s lowest offer price of N39.15, might not be too bad an entry for the FA purists.
The risk in it is that it’s on full offer, no bid at the moment.
But there are offers higher than the least price.
Meaning once the least price is cleared, there’s a tendency for attention to be drawn to it.
Flour mills (FMN) that is on full bid now actually owns 59.6% of NNFM.
BBM the great, what sayest thou thine charts on NNFM?

Actually, FLOUR is yet to gain a kobo while HONEY is currently +10%

I am thinking it has a lot to do with the hint @Sunrisepebble dropped.
Broker to broker cross deals might be happening, with a few retail-retail investor’s transactions.
But in all, when a stock goes full bid, no one wants to sell.
I haven’t checked the free float though to answer your question fully, but I recall Flour’s bull run from N18 to over N40 some years ago. Noticed the illiquidity then too.

Speaking of contagion effect. I see an unrelated stock that could follow FMN. Maybe the manufacturing industry relationship is the connection?

First bank has been giving us Oando vibes... The daily movement is fantastic but can this price range be sustained?

Do we sell or wait?

Lol!
Please, be mindful how you use Oando as a yardstick or benchmark for comparing or analyzing other stocks.
The stock ''Oando'' and its antecedents is not something that everyone on this platform likes or is comfortable with.
So you don't end up having some unnecessary antagonists, like it has happened to some folks. To those antagonists, anyone that is excited about Oando must be either an APC agent, or doing MH (they call it ''Monkey Hunting'') business.
Wish you all the best in your investments, whether in FBN, GT, ZB, UBA, JP or Oando or whatever

Free float for FMN should be about 35%. The full bid in FMN has caused contagion effect in HONEY, to be honest I am not sure how the pending transaction with FMN positively affects HONEY but I will find out

Na wa for you o.

Until the off-screen seller is done, Ellah is not going anywhere (in the short term) in my opinion.

That said, strong positive news or deep pockets can absorb the shares the seller wants to offload. Until then, the seller is running the show.

Chief OakPearl, I hope you're doing great!
NNFM is experiencing selling pressure. Current price at Jan 2011 support. IF this support cannot hold the price, then there a subtle hurdle between 32 & 36 before jumbing to 30!

I have been hinting on the potential impact of FMN's acquisition of Honey Well, although HWF has reorded losses in three straight years after the deal.
But I believe the acquisition will yield some strong positives in synergy in logistics, cost efficiency and enhanced profitability for Honey Well as their factory is located near FMN in Apapa. The company is undergoing some restructuring so watch out for a turnaround very soon.

Good job @Omooloriredade!
From 52 week comparison chart, NNFM maybe facing profit taking having over-perform its pair and consumer good sector (generally) for the past year. Flourmill & Honeywell are now performing with investors perceving that they are cheap. NNFM will need to find a good support level before joining the group!
