1. Don't be concerned. Fill another DS-160 as you have planned and attend your visa interview with both old and new ds-160s . There is no update profile option in the new AVITS website, so it is understandable. Fill another DS-160 or update the current one as soon as you have decided on your final school.

1. You will still follow the embassy only recommended option which is :

" If you paid by card or your cash/ EFT and your payment is delayed longer than the mentioned processing time, please use the ''Create a ticket'' option in your scheduling account on usvisaappt.com to send us the payment confirmation and the screenshot of the error you encountered, alongside with a brief explanation of the error.

** Our support desk will process your inquiry and respond as soon as possible.

* Please do not make an additional payment as it will not be refunded.

Hey 🤠

1. You are not just landing at the embassy and walk straight to the consular officer like that . You will meet applicants like you , and especially hundreds of applicants in your present situation .
Aside this, there are assigned embassy staffs and security personnel,who lines you up, arrange or checks your documents and give recommendations.

PS: Don't worry about what you will tell the consular. Go with both DS -160s.

Its actually frustrating, because its not funny anymore.
They keep acting like they're on it anytime one reach out to them. Check your dashboard 24 hrs later, some will say 48 hrs yet nothing is been done at all.

Usually before, they’d say they were on migrations and now that the migration has been done, no significant difference

The same attitude in Accra too. It's a shitshow trust me. To think a whole US embassy will be this nonchalant towards applicants after receiving non-refundable fees is beyond belief.

They said they are no longer working with Embassy that I should check with OIS. I have gone to OIS four different times and they said my passport is not with them. I have made calls to Lagos Embassy they keep directing me to use the Visa Navigator to get the answers to my questions. This is no longer funny😟

I made F1 Visa payment on the previous website but I wasn't able to book a date before the former website went down. Now on the new website, I started a new application without knowing that I should wait for the email to start my application. so now I have two profiles.

I am unable to book a new appointment, the new website page is stuck on 'service selection' it does not move further. Please any suggestions?
I have raised tickets on the AVITS, but my ticket has been on hold.

1. Your visit to DHL and OIS was like a student with beautiful school uniform , but who is not officially registered at the principal office.

2. DHL is still working with the USA embassy but on - Pay as You Work basis. OIS has replaced DHL as the main drop -off/Pick -up representative.

FIRST.

* Tract your VISA status here.

SECONDLY

* VISIT AVITS and sign up

*. Then raise a ticket (complain message) by attaching your VISA pick up slip in the message .

* Go to OIS website and sign up and book pick up appointment with your passport information, as well as your VISA pick up slip & Tracking printout.

** Your Passport must have been returned to the embassy by DHL, while the embassy might have redirected it to OIS but you don't have any account. No AVIT profile , no OIS profile.

** Call the embassy help-line for final instruction.

1. Login to the new profile and delete your accounts. Then start all over again. After signing up, don't proceed further , just raise a ticket (complaint message) attaching your previous MRV payment evidence , requesting that they link your account and grant you appointment request access .

1. Let her focus on the same Economics. She is on her way to becoming a Professor of Economics (PhD/Researcher) or a Good National/Global Economist.

2. Google Public Research Universities in the United States. Pick the schools one by one, and email Economics departments in the International Graduate Admissions section of each school.

3. She should indicate her academic standings , ie CGPA, Standardized test scores ( GRE, TOEFL etc) , and ask specific questions about admissions requirements, availability of scholarships, application fees or waiver, etc.

PS: That is all i think the student needs to jumpstart. No magic is required.
