Buy HONEYWELL at less than #5. Thanks me later

I didn't want to post this but let me just do because I want others to chop too. It's a win win situation whether Oba takes it back or FMN continues with it.

They are the cheapest of all FMN acquisitions.

DYOR

If you are able to get HONEYWELL at sub 5 just thank your Creator grin

That company is a goldmine anyway...

Will it compete with FLOURMILLS if OBA takes it back?

OBA sabi this game wella. He wants to bounce back and he will soonest

Mr Time will give clarifications

Be the CEO of your portfolio and have peace. Stop blaming anyone for you decisions/indecisions. Get recommendations but do your own due diligence and take absolute responsibility for your actions. If the same recommendations had gone south, the story would have been different. I'm a bit new but I know better to take responsibility than pointing fingers. I come in peace.

Please I'm trying to "test" Morgan's trading platform but it's not submitting my bid. Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Divineability: 10:55am On Sep 27
With all due respect, I don't agree with you on this. I value each and every expert on this platform who volunteer information, including those you tagged evil. I observe that they always put a caveat when they make their submissions, e.g. do your diligence, you are the MD of your portfolio, not a sell or buy recommendation etc. The onus is on us to sieve the pieces of information, do our own diligence, and make decisions.
This market is an ongoing process; it is not over until it is over. We all need to play safe and smart.

Bro maybe you've noticed that I've been quiet a bit. Some evil people particularly that street investor chap here do me strong thing but i blame myself. I just recovered from the psychological trauma. Me wey talk say i no go sell my very plenty oando when the guy was trying to cause panic actually panic sold at N29 and on the same day it started to go back up. Another guy well respected also said here that Oando could crash to N10 simply because he didn't buy when cheap (sour grapeeism). I sold all even when my broker said to keep like half. It really affected me.. i sold all Japaul sef out of depression grin. But i don recover thank God. i have rebought Japaul even more than i had before. Also tripled my Ellah holdings.. as better people dey here na so yeye people dey..

p.s. enjoying the ellah ride. I rebought at good price.. both ellah and Japaul will be big in the future

Change the "Fill or Kill" to "Day" under Time in Force.

If you don't, even if you are able to submit but the stock is not available immediately at that price in your requested quantity, the order will expire.

You will do well to download the user manual and carefully go thru it in details.

Very simple to understand and particularly educative when practicing alongside it as you're reading.

Besides, submit button is pressed once, then a pop-up asking you if you want to submit the Order comes up, you just click 'Yes'. Shikena.

Double click the submit button if it's on computer.

What if they end up reviewing the exit price up?

That man no good with company management oh.
If you dig into companies where he is on the board, you will be amazed at the gross abuse of corporate governance.
Just don’t put your trust on untrustworthy individuals.

Afrinvest Stockbrokers Limited have folded up, leaving several of their clients and investors stranded and at a Loss.

How true is this statement?
Also, may I clarify that a stock broker going under has nothing to do with clients’ stock portfolio investments as all stocks bought through the broker is warehoused with the CSCS.
All they need do is register with a new broker and and complete share transfer forms for their portfolio to be moved to the new house.
Unless they invested in the broker’s special in-house products not backed by the SEC and CSCS.

You people can spread falsehood sha. What do you mean folded up? First, they're called Afrinvest Securities Limited, not what you wrote there. Secondly, it's only their web portal that they're reworking and they notified investors. Their mobile app, Android and iOS are working perfectly. Here's a link to the announcement https://www.instagram.com/p/DAHAX2nOpLx/?igsh=MTVqM2MzcXdrODIwaQ==

Afrinvest has been in business since 1995. An almost 30yr old business regulated by the SEC & NGX does not just fold up. Learn how things work, find the truth before you start posting things in public.

Ho sold at a premium, will also likely buy back at a premium....lol.
Except they just want to do paddy paddy.

But, considering him buying back is just looking at various options that may be available for HW, from my opinion.

HW will also still do well under Excelsior because food industry is booming now.

Once your Stockbroking firm disappears, every money you have with them that you have not yet used to buy shares is lost forever. Only your shares are safe since those ones are domiciled not with your Stockbroker but with CSCS

Thanks. Questions now is validity of the Revaluation Surplus estimate of ₦15b and if there are other shares apart from the 2,753,786,788 ordinary shares that may show up as a result of stock split or whatever other things not yet recorded.

I noticed the revaluation surplus has been consistent since their 2022 financials.

Also this Revaluation surplus is solely based on their net-Land assets.
(not on Property or equipments, or other assets).

I think they are being fair for not even revaluing their land assets upwards since their acquisition in 2022 financials.
(Though I don't know how they arrived at the amount)
even though they've bought more quantities of land btwn ₦15mil & ₦80mil since then without revaluation.

Despite the inflation and value-added activities on the land assets since that time-frame.

Also the Bulk of that Revaluation is ₦13.6bn land assets from the ADARICE Processing Zone in Enugu. Seems they didn't purchase it, just handed over by Enugu Government to manage it.

As for the OS, I think it's the same.. If there is any addition or split within the year.. They should notify investors via the exchange.

Just like you stated, they will definitely come to the market in future to raise funds
because I suspect that the deposit-for-shares in their equity statements by some investors will be converted and added to issued share capital when they issue more shares in future.
(my opinion though).
