nlenq: Port Health or something like that. It's near the airport toll gate. You can get the certificate there. Get there early to avoid unnecessary delay. |

kingemaker: I'm so sorry. I was so sure you would get the visa. This is quite disappointing. It's unlikely you will get the visa before the conference/training. Please inform your training department so that an application for a refund for the fee paid can be made. If you want to reapply, do so as a tourist. Let us know if you need help. For now, leave the UK alone. |

lanrewaju902: @olanrewaju Of course she has four children and husband has strong home tie also she is a chorister in the church,is this not enough tie? The means of support has a traceable source. If the way I filled there application form is okay, then the sky is ur limit |

This is their way of telling you that they are behind schedule with your visa application but they are still working on it and will get back to you when they are done. Just be patient and you will hear from them soon. Ozzy15: |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by naivasha: 3:24pm On Sep 28 |
Your colleague's application was processed within the expected timelines therefore there was no need to send her this email. And considering that hers was successful, I would say yes, please stay optimistic. All the best. Ozzy15: |

Gurus in the house, when you mistakenly choose Victoria Island for submission and later realized that it comes with charges 76.5 pounds. If we decide to cancel the application, would they refund the complete application fee? Because my brother is not willing to pay 76.5 pounds. He would rather go to Ikeja to submit his application. |

Hi house. Please, does all these UK tourist visa come as Multiple entry visa especially if one specifically needs it? Does the UK require Travel insurance and flight booking? Also, if one needs to write exam there with proof/s, land, some family ties, GOOD bank statement ( due to several yrs of pooled family funds on investments in my account, since I run it) and no work ties) plus definitely coming back from UK hope one stands a chance for tourist visa? |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 9:34am On Sep 29 |
Greatphase:Uk standard visitor visa comes as multiple entry. Uk does not require travel insurance nor travel booking. If you are going to write an exam and CURRENTLY unemployed and yet showing funds- then there must be evidence and documentary proofs about how every 1 kobo was accrued. This still does not guarantee the visa. Also you are not the one to say you are definitely coming back, your circumstances and the evidence you provide should be able to determine on a balance of probabilities that you may come back. The ECO will decide after that. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 12:55pm On Sep 29 |
onile1975: Your wife's disposable income is too low. It is a serious red flag and I would not advise you to proceed with that. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 12:58pm On Sep 29 |
onile1975: Surely, your wife should have some savings... Although you will be her sponsor, she must be seen to have some degree of financial independence . Her income is low and her disposable income is extremely low. At this rate, it might be better to say she is a full time house wife. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 12:59pm On Sep 29 |
babs4all: You can cancel the application. Otherwise, your brother should pay the fee and count his loses. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 1:00pm On Sep 29 |
Jannyfranc: You pay a fee for VI. Everyone knows that. It's clearly written on the website. |
