Good evening house.

Please, if someone do a self service and uploaded documents online. Can the person ask TLS to remove some document and upload more documents on biometric day ?

Please poster, how did u raise a paid enquiry please? I'm loosing my mind now coz I'm in the same situation. It's almost 2weeks now that they responded with a mail stating my application isn't straightforward. Classes have resumed already. Please how do I raise a paid enquiry plzzzz
Elfavour:

I'm of the opinion they've made a decision on your application but since it was weekend and then the possible public holiday might have caused a delay in you receiving the mail. Because most people that receive the visa approval mail from UKVI, it's always dated like 2 days ago from when they actually receive it.

Please I just made payment for an assisted service appointment booking on the TLS site. The payment went through, my bank account was also debited. However, on my profile it is showing that Appointment 'Not Yet Set' and I have also not received my appointment booking email.
Please what do I do?
Do I book another appointment?.
Please help. Thank you.

@kayla0 @kaylaO please be careful and arrange your documents well as well as your application form. Do not be in a hurry.
If you also feel you need time to arrange bank statements from your husband, yourself etc then take your time. You already have quite some refusals on your back, no need to get more.
Also your employer’s letter must categorically state they have no objection to your goin on a holiday and you have been granted such and such dates as leave period and that you would be expected back at work on this date.
There should be nothing vague submitted.
Your employment was doubted and you were accused of money lodgement. Reassess your situation and get every and any document that can overturn these major issues. If you do not have these, then do not reapply.
You can try other countries first and then come back to the UK

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by KaylaO: 11:58am On Oct 03
Yes, I'm not reapplying soon. I intend to give it at least 3 months to maybe allow that 25k fizzle out of my account statement and as for my salary, I have discussed with the HR and they'll add clear details for subsequent payments. Thank you for your help.

On the other hand, my husband is thinking we should write, explaining the funds with proof, but it clearly states that I do not have the right to appeal so I don't want to muddy the waters. What do you think? Do we stand a chance if we seek a review or should we just move on and correct things in the next application?

Calculate your monthly expenses for one year and find the average. The figure you get will be close to your monthly cost of living.

Thanks a lot @cashmadam for your response. I do appreciate

People like you are the reason why we see many denials

You know something is illegal and you're here asking people to show you how to perpetrate illegality.

Visit Visa rule says, don't work

But you want to work.

I hope you're not granted

If you chose self service, go ahead and upload your documents. The same thing happened to me during my application but in my own case TLS already sent me payment confirmation, but my appointment time and date was still showing "Not set yet", and it was like that till i got my visa. Here's what i did;
Log on to "selfupload.visas-uk.tlscontact.com", but before then make sure you're logged in to your TLS account, if not it won't work. Open another tab in the same browser for this "selfupload.visas-uk.tlscontact.com", different from your TLS account tab which must still be open.

When the site loads, it will show your GWF number on the top right side of the page, then you can go ahead and upload all your documents. Note that you can only upload all relevant documents once, you can't come back to delete or add any other document after you have uploaded and left the page, so put all the documents you want to upload in a folder before you start.

Below is a screenshot of what my TLS page showed before i followed those steps

Please I need information

Biometric 2nd sept
Empty NSF 3rd Sept
Document request on 20th September “We are unable to verify a bank statement from GT Bank with reference ****please provide another Bank statement showing that it has been held for a 28 day period (dated within 31 days before the date of application) in line with Appendix Finance.

Please send this document as a scanned attachment within 10 working days to: Sheffieldstudentteam.docrequestsInternal@fco.gov.uk quoting your application reference in the subject line”

Re uploaded bank statements few hours on 20th Sept.

Did paid call on Wednesday 23rd Sept, was told decision made

Then till date no email and tracker didn’t move.

On 2nd October, did escalation “Thank you for your enquiry.

Please accept our apologies for any confusion caused by previous communication you may have received in regards to your decision.
Having checked your application we can confirm your case is currently at the last stage of the process. Please note you will be contacted as soon as a decision is made on your application”

Please what is the problem and why confusion
