Please help! I am a dependent to my husband who is a student. We do not qualify for graduate visa but my company is willing to give me COS as a care assistant which covers just me. I am trying to get a charity visa for my husband but the ones willing to give don’t want to give the entire family (family of 4) please what other options do we have? Our visa expires in December Thank you in advance. |

Good morning everyone! Please as a first time traveler, I am exploring the possibility of my wife giving birth in the UK. What kind of visa should I apply for and is there any legit agent here that can assist? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 8:17am On Oct 09 |
greatmanval:Unless you are British or have ILR, the baby will not be British. Also the NHS bill for delivery alone would be minimum £11,000. There is no benefit of why one would choose to spend such amount and have nothing to show for it. After delivery, they go back to Nigeria the same way they came. 6 Likes |

Hey fam, I submitted my application on 7th October 2024 I’m using a 6 month statement of April-September I want to book a biometrics appointment in November Will this be too late ? I’m not so keen on traveling early, so November for biometrics is totally okay for me and decision by end of December is perfectly okay Hope my bank statement would still be valid for this timeframe or will the ECO wish to also see my October statement Cc, Cashmadam Giselle237 |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 10:55am On Oct 09 |
MelaninGemstone:Bank statement should be within 28-31 days at least for the rules they use re- skilled work or student visas. If you do biometrics in November which is when your case would be moving forward, provide an updated bank statement. Eg Biometrics is November 25th, why are you bringing a bank statement that ends September 28th? I wouldn’t do that except I am trying my best to conceal some material facts. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 5:30pm On Oct 09 |
MelaninGemstone: Your October statement would help your case. I wouldn't use that statement if I were you - but then, miracles have been known to happen. If you don't want to use a statement that ends just before your appointment date (for whatever reason), then use what you want and pray for the best. Ideally, your statement of account should be printed just before it is uploaded. Good luck! |

Good morning. Please on my refusal letter the amount that was stated by the VO is far lower and far different from what I earn and put on the application. Also very different from what my bank account states. And while I had invitation letter and all and part sponsorship from the event I was to attend, the VO said the money I'm spending on that one trip is more than my salary, but the amount quoted is not accurate. Is there a way to bring this to their attention or contest this please |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by UGF1: 12:59pm On Oct 10 |
Good afternoon house, This afternoon I received a refusal mail on my Visa application. The reason for the refusal is that I did not provide additional documents as requested. However this is not the case as I have mail evidence for provision of additional documents. They requested for additional documents on 29 August, I sent them on 30 August. Please house, what do I do? I need your advice please. |

Can anyone tell me how I can get a cheaper appointment date for biometrics I don’t have 100k or 82k to pay As I’m doing self service Any tips to get a cheaper date ? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by UGF1: 2:03pm On Oct 10 |
Dear Fam, I need your advice please. My Visa was refused on the ground that I didn't provide additional documents as requested. However, this is not true as I have email evidence of documents I submitted. How do I appeal this decision? Please, I need your urgent advice on the next steps to take. |

Choose assisted service and pick any date of your choice. This is around ₦25K or so. MelaninGemstone: |

In my mum's UK visit visa application, I put it there that she personally plans to spend £1900 on her trip, then in other section I wrote that I will be covering the full cost of the trip. I've submitted the application but I'm worried I may have made a mistake. Will her visa be denied cuz of this?. I submitted lots of supporting documents. Her bank statement has a balance of 5.1m. I submitted my bank statement with over 6k pounds. I also included payslips, tenancy agreement and all sorts.. she's a pensioner |

Ordinarily, I should have just insulted you, but the good manners in me wouldn't permit me. If you're ignorant of something, then learn from those who know, but the ignorance and arrogance in you would not let you learn. I'm trying to teach you what you don't know and you're accusing me of spreading misinformation, why are you asking if you have the correct information with you? Choose assisted services, then look for a time that doesn't have premium services in it and pick, you'll only pay for the assisted service. Is this too hard for you to understand? Check the image I attached, I paid for EXPRESS COURIER RETURN and APPOINTMENT ASSISTED SERVICE and I paid a total of ₦49K for both N.B: I did my capturing and biometrics on Monday, 7th October 2024. So I know what I'm saying. JaySterling: 2 Likes

Olubunmi101: £1900 is a bit high.. Very few applications are 100% perfect. Many times, God shows us mercy despite our imperfections. You just have to wait it out. Let us know when you get a feedback. 1 Like |
