You have to book separate appointments on the same profile and try to use the 3 reschedule changes to match the date/time of the interview. I did same for 2 adults but its not easy. Good luck

it is unfair nobody wants to answer me. Has anyone been able to navigate this issue of not being able to book an appointment since I made a payment last week Friday, it is over a week. I have made calls every day and have created at least 8 tickets. If anybody has been able to navigate this big problem. 1. Why not screenshot your AVITS profile for people to see Whats going on ? Were you charged the MRV fee ? Did you attach your payment acknowledgement along in your ticket message ? These are the important scenarios to be considered.

2. Creating ticket is the official recommendation of the US embassy thus ;

If you paid by card or cash/ EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) and payment is delayed longer than the usual processing time, please use the ''Create a ticket'' option in your scheduling account on usvisaappt.com to send us the payment confirmation and the screenshot of the error you encountered, alongside with a brief explanation of the error.

* Please do not make an additional payment as it will not be refunded. You may as well use the other options to reach out ;

But I will call the Nigerian telephone number you dropped here on Monday, I have been calling them via the website and they claimed they have been escalating the issue.

I am having this issue. I have two applications, first one I apaid the MRV on 31st August and have not been able to proceed to Visa interview scheduling till now. I have called different contacts and they kept redirecting me to another contact until it got into a in circle. The 2nd application, the MRV was paid on 18th September and till now, I am also not able to proceed for that one too.
This whole new system is so frustrating!!!!

I will be staying at a hotel in NY on arrival for 2 day before the cruise-ship and from there to the cruise-ship from NY to Brahmas and back to NY. The cruise ship will last 7 days. And I will be back to the hotel again for 5 more days. Which I will use for shopping and other site seeing.

Now my problem is. I was asked. Locations I will be visiting in the state when I visit.

Should I list each state the cruise ship will be passing through or I just need to input the hotel and then cruise ship then hotel again. But all in same NY.

Just put the cruise ship company name and address with number and you can create another line for the hotel you will lodge on arrival.
Anyway, they won't check that much during interview.
They just want to see your traveling history, source of income and monthly income to be worth the tourism

I was just explaining what card I used that didn't work, I resorted to using the transfer option and it was confirmed after about 24 hours.

1. For your hubby, always log out and login or restart your phone, laptop, or browser in order to refresh AVITS page which is presently susceptible to hanging or frozen. When you do this, it's very possible that your desired date will be clickable. You just have to keep trying.

2. For your IW, You have to sign up, choose country and location (Lagos/Abuja), chose payment method, pay (within 3 days ) VISA fee with the method chosen, and wait for payment confirmation. You will encounter IW questionnaire naturally if you follow this process.

3. Once your payment is confirmed, your user account will display the calendar with available appointments (dates) , or the Interview Waiver ( IW ) confirmation. You will only need to click on Pending Appointment Request on your dashboard in order to continue.

4. After receiving the IW qualification letter , and your successful appointment booking on AVITS, then your next step is to visit OIS

in order to schedule the 2nd round IW Drop off/Pick up appointment. You will need your AVITS booking information to do this, but it's going to be understandable. Focus on AVITS first.

2. I understand your frustration, but the embassy has stated that any applicant that is having payment issue
" should not pay another VISA fee , but should raise a ticket. Your scenario is likely that, you are bombarding the embassy with tickets (complaint), while previous tickets have not been resolved.

3. This is what i will suggest : Keep your payment records intact . Login to AVITS and delete your profile (s). Some applicants are communicating with the embassy with complicated profiles. * Re-visit AVIT, sign up with a new email and phone number , and create a new ticket based on one MRV payment . You can make back up calls in support of the tickets, and wait for the confirmation.

PS: The above is the solution, not escalation. You may email the embassy with your payment acknowledgement too .

* The embassy does not give any info about your kind of issue (having warned about the pre-update last hour payment), they only give directive with those who were able to book appointments before the update as narrated in the attached.

1. Well, since the MRV is valid for 1- year, let's hope it is never too late. Open a ticket with your MRV payment and explained the situation you want the embassy to know about. Perhaps, you might be attended to. Or call the staff- helpline.
