study visa doesn’t make sense again to me. Its a big gamble with no guaranted stay. Many in canada are stranded, the 2 years post graduate work permit of many in Uk is expiring soon with not hope of job sponsorship. My friend studied in Belgium and said many are doing 2-3 different masters just to stay. The best is to upskill yourself in Nigeria, target countries with permanent residency/ job offer even tho that is hard too.

Your position was NOT true. There are lot of software developers without jobs. Some Software Developers have even abandoned the career for another lowly paid job.

Software Development is a serious engineering job. You want to compare someone building "calculator" apps with someone who is building an enterprise app. The skillsets required for the two are vastly different and the westerners will test you to your limit during the interview.

Stay in Nigeria, convert 90% of the money to dollars

Use part of the money($500) to learn an online skill from Andrew Tate and co, to add to whatever offline business I am running

Invest part of the money in us stock index (sp500) and sleep

Once I start earning in dollars with it, Nigeria becomes very sweet to stay in.

Imagine someone selling his house and property to travel.out ,he will now spend years and hard labour to save that amount of money again after so many years to come back to Nigeria to build the same house again.

put 20m on treasury bills at 15percnt and feed the family on the upfront interest for one year. use that 6m to start a business for one year. your head go don clear after one year weda you wan move or not. please if you dont have a definite plan on what you want to do abroad, don't make that move.. its capital intensive especially for a family of three.

15% of 20m is just 250k per months. A family of 4 needs more than that to live moderately good life in Nigeria. That 6 millions can't start a good business now, except you are talking about online business.

I used to think that way before until I realised you can't break even in this current harsh business environment if you don't have huge financial backing. 26 millions naira is not much, it would be better for anyone to use it to enter a good Western country if that is enough. You can live a quality life and still save more than that in less than 2 years abroad especially if you are legit with work permit.

Test people living abroad . Offer them 26m naira to leave abroad . 70% of those living abroad will take the offer within 24 hrs and rush back to Naija .
How many of those abroad can boast of having that amount in their bank account or in FX ?we are talking about over 16,000 dollars oooo.
