I agree. The new issue is that I paid with my dollar card, but did not get a payment confirmation, but the money has ben taken off my card and I was able to make an appointment. Now I don't have proof of payment. I think I may use the old first bank receipt that was paid first since that is valid for a year. Fingers crossed that they accept it.

Please what bank dollar card did use for your dollar payment. I keep getting unsuccessful payments with different cards.

I used a US based bank card. Not sure about Nigerian bank dollar cards.

I am also having this same "Receipt Not Found" issue. Please let me know if you solve it. Support and the NIV emails are not helping. They put my support ticket on hold for over a month now.

Same issue I am having for my parents receipt. I’m tired of creating ticket. My last ticket is on hold, they said they have escalated the issue. It’s progress because before there was no place to input old receipt details.

Did you get a payment confirmation screen? I didn’t get one. Thanks.

Yes I did for the three times I paid and I was able to save the receipt.

You're lucky. The site kept hanging after I paid, and then I was directed to the questions. No payment confirmation screen.

Hello.

1. It is not mandated that visa applicants should pay with cards. Why not walk into the bank or send a relative to go and deposit cash at First Bank ? I have recommended physical deposit in a bank and none have had any issues so far .

Welcome back. cheesy

Thank you for responding. I will continue checking and waiting.

I also had a duplicate applicant issue but got around that by sending an email to the Lagos niv email using the format someone mentioned on this thread. Similar to your experience, I logged on and noticed the error popup stopped appearing and I was on the payment page.

For the duplicate applicant issue you resolved by sending email, was your payment with GTB or First bank? I'm asking as the instructions on that format was for applicants with old payment on GTB.

I understand that it worked for some but it didn’t for my sister. Her payment has been unresolved for 2 weeks + and they’ve put her complaint/ticket on hold so she’s just in limbo. I would like to avoid that fate if possible since a card payment is a direct confirmation.

Hello.

1. You wrote that your sister did bank transfer and i suggested direct physical bank deposit. Going physically to deposit MRV payment takes just 24hrs to be validated . The inability to wait for 24hrs has caused many to wait for weeks with other options.

2. Card payment is not the best but it is the fastest because when your payment went through successfully you can continue with your appointment scheduling almost immediately. The 2nd best is physical deposit in a bank which takes 24rs to reflect. I have never seen anyone i know who has complained about physical deposit. You must be 100 % sure of your card ability if opting for card payment otherwise it can be counter productive.

Okay I understand you now. If the cards don’t work, I will try the deposit option. Thank you 🙏🏾

Hi guys, thank you for your responses on my previous concerns. I have one more issue at hand.
I'm one of the people who have a valid visa fee from the old portal but didn't schedule an ian appointment. Fast forward after the migration, my profile has been saying "user inactive" for months. i decided to create another profile using a different email but I'm unable to use my GTB receipt. Created tickets and got a response to upload a screenshot of my vise fee receipt which I have done severally yet no head way from there.
Recently, I got an email that I have been moved to the new portal and to reset my password which I did with the link that was sent to me but when I try to log in, it still says "user inactive" while the newly created profile still has open and unresolved tickets with the GTB visa fee receipts uploaded.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? How do I go about this issue? It's been over a month. I need help please.

Hello everyone please I need help ooo.
I had an IW appointment that was reschedule automatically to August 2024 from my initial appointment date in Nov 2024 by the US consulate.

However I was unable to drop off my documents at the time due to work obligation. And was unable to reschedule another date as instructed in the email sent to me, because the old system became unavailable.

I am yet to get an email from the new service provider to migrate to the new portal.

What should I do, I still have my MRV intact on the old portal.

It's been 3 weeks since the new portal has been up, and I am yet to get the migration email.

Thanks

@harma please how do you resolve this.

It's been over 2 months since payment was made and AVITS has done nothing about it
They keep closing my ticket and left one on hold, no response on that one.
These people are bunch of useless twats... you call and they tell you to exercise patience, you chat they tell you the same. this is very frustrating!!! undecided undecided
