Sure and God answers prayers.. Thanks

But help scrutinize these docs. Hope I didn't leave anything out.
I and many others can't see the supporting doc, dunno what course u're applying for, seems u've have your 1st degree and dunno how related to your fielde of study as well as how tite your sop. Try to think the unthinkable to convince the VO that you're actually going for the purpose of the visa applied for, double chk ur SOP, like someone said, it can make or mar someone's apps, I believe we'll all celebrate with you once approved!

Bros Siga...hw u doin' Sir?...pls, are u trying to say that any program someone wants to go for, e.g PG, it must go alongside ur work background. E.g, u work in a bank, n u wanna go for Msc in environmental policy(it doesn't correlate). Sir,u knw naija nah, we dnt work from discipline ethics...E.g, u see a biologist in bank...or as a marketer....e.t...c....
Or isn't it better to declare unemployed...
What's d implication if one states he/she isn't employed?...

Environmental policy is an interdisciplinary course that any1 from different first degree background such as Arts n Humanities, Social sciences, health related course n co can apply . All one needs to do is give a good SOP while you want to take up such program. Its all about God anyway and packaging.

Hi guys,

Good morning.

Please while applying online, is there a place that allows you to scan your passport pages to show travel history?

Also, my current passport is new because it recently expired. It is the old one that has travel history. Can I still scan the old one?

Thanks guys.

I'm applying for Advanced Diploma

Yeah I took my time to research online on how to write a very good SOP. The summary of what I learned from my old research is 'passion'. You have to be passionate about the course and try to find balance between the course and your present line of work. (Old testament) grin

And the New testament what I learned here which is also 'passion' but in a more advanced form. Here is about being passionate about our country. I just tried to find the balance between my childhood experience in relation to my work experience, my course and future Nigeria using what the newly reviewed economy would bring.

Its kinda easy to write if you have passion for Nigeria from within and show that Nigeria needs you in the context of your write up. You don't necessarily have to remind them that you are coming back to Nigeria, your passion would place a hidden detail why you are coming back in the write up.

It took me some days to write it tho and I gave it to people to read and even a prof and I made the necessary corrections. I just hope and pray it works and with God all things are possible.

I didn't fill the end date in mine. I don't think you should fill it since you are still employed.

You might be right...buh I made this mistake on my first app and got delayed. it is it good if u show proof of what ever u state in the family info form and app form.

Some peeps even add family photos too. Strong ties can be;

Landed properties (this borders on financial capability as well)
Job
FAMILY
Etc

Buh what do I know...I might be wrong grin

This ur analysis tho'... Even if all ur families r in heaven der is possibility that u wud have all deir IDs... VO myt think in dis perspective too.... Lol
I think d most important thing is to fill d family info form...one cud go xtra miles to include all d IDs and pix anyway if u wish, bt I tink it's not dat pertinent..... Landed properties is another strong home ties anyway

Hello all future Canadian students,

This is just a heads up to avoid getting into financial difficulties in Canada.

A recent development on tuition increase in the Concordia University College of Alberta (CUCA) has been causing mixed emotions, stress and pressure on post graduate students.

The tuition fee was increased from $27,000 to $32,420 without prior information and all post graduate students (Old and New) were mandated to pay the new fees.
A lot of you may scream; that's not fair!!! Yes it is not but there is little the students can do about it. This is because the initial tuition fee statement sent to students for obtaining their visas had the small prints "Tuition fees are subject to change". which foreign students did not take into consideration

Now this are things you must confirm from your prospective school before your arrive Canada:

1. How many semester/terms will you be charged international student fees ?
CUCA charges international student fees in 4 semesters. NOTE: international student fees was increased from $2205 to $2340 per semester.
So international student fee will cost you an extra $9360

2. Ensure you confirm the number of course credit unit required for your program of choice?
The Master of information system security and Master of Information system Assurance program require 60 course credits. CUCA increased their course credit fee per 3 credits from $966 to $1026 which means 60 credits will cost you $20920

3. Always ask the school to give you a full breakdown of all the additional mandatory fees such as student union, sports. technology fee. repatriation fee, student health insurance fee and many others.
CUCA mandatory fees are estimated at $385 per semester, so the program will cost you an additional $1540 in mandatory fees

So this is the actual cost of taking the Master of Information system security management and Master of information system Assurance management program in Concordia University College of Alberta:

Tuition: $20920 dollars
International student fees: $9360 dollars
Mandatory fees: $1540 dollars
Student Health insurance fee: $600 dollars

So a Total of $32,420

This is Concordia University College of Alberta fees, Please ensure you confirm the fees in your chosen school before accepting any admission

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ACCEPT BEFORE COMING

Thanks for the info bro, can't bliv the old students are also affected by the increase. This new tuition is unreasonably too high and students are only eligible for a one-time CAD2500 financial aid

3 years? What's the nature of the prog? Advance diploma? Hope you wrote a good SOP as to the importance of the course to you and Nigeria

Ask them you'll prefer to pay by credit card (most schools accept this form of payment) or by wire transfer

Gud. The issue now is ur proposed stay in Canada which is 3yrs. U really need to convince the VO by working more on ur SOP. First, why going 4 3yrs program when u already hav a bsc. Is ur proposed program related to ur work experience or ur 1st degree. Secondly, u also need to consider ur age. My advice, why not go for a pgd program of 1-2yrs. All is well
