Takamba: A very hard time now for the king of Fulani singers. Baaba Maal lost his only son Omar Maal. Omar was 34 years old and was living in Belgium where he died. Amiin ya rabbi, Allah yafumo 1 Like |

Fulaman, do you speak Tamasheq? |
Re: Meet The Most Beautiful People On Earth- The Fulanis by Fulaman198(m): 3:15pm On Oct 03, 2014 |
Omarbah: Fulaman, do you speak Tamasheq? Mathalaka d'etis amidinine! Just a little bro not fluently. Working on it. |
Re: Meet The Most Beautiful People On Earth- The Fulanis by Omarbah: 7:03pm On Oct 03, 2014 |
Fulaman198:Working on it? So you must live around them then. Is it similar to Hausa? I know Tuaregs would love to have their own country, I wonder what would happen to Fulbe in Northern Mali if it becomes autonomous or independent. 1 Like |

Omarbah: There are few Tuaregs where I live in Abuja but not many, they are further North near the Niger Republic border. The Tamasheq language is quite different from Hausa. They are both classified as Afro-Asiatic languages but different. 1 Like |

Fulaman198:If I may ask, do they share the same vision as their Malian brothers? Or like the Tuaregs in Niger, they prefer to be part of the central government. |
Re: Meet The Most Beautiful People On Earth- The Fulanis by Fulaman198(m): 7:25am On Oct 04, 2014 |
Omarbah: I have not spoken to Tuaregs extensively to actually know that information. From what I can gather though, they do want to return to their desert way of life in Mali and Niger. A lot of them are in Nigeria as a result of the civil war that took place decades ago. Many Tuaregs moved to Libya, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and other parts of Algeria (which they already had a stronghold at). They, like us want to be able to roam freely. |

Fulaman, the Bantu genes have messed up your mind. You must go back to drinking the milk of camels and regain your Nomadicness. |

Re: Meet The Most Beautiful People On Earth- The Fulanis by Fulaman198(m): 8:11am On Oct 05, 2014 |
axum: I'm 100% Fulani there is no Bantu in me. You should really stop hating on the Bantus |
Re: Meet The Most Beautiful People On Earth- The Fulanis by Fulaman198(m): 8:13am On Oct 05, 2014 |
tpia1: There are a few though not many. They are whatever they want to consider themselves. Often they can't speak Fulfulde or Tamasheq. They often only speak Hausa. |

Fulaman198:what is the title of the song? I've seen this video before. |
Re: Meet The Most Beautiful People On Earth- The Fulanis by Omarbah: 4:18pm On Oct 05, 2014 |
No wonder people think we have North African origins, the song sounds a bit North African. I remember watching a video of white guy that went to Guinea on Fulbe, he said our music is different, you can't dance on it LOL. But we are full blooded West Africans. Eid Mubarak Fulaman and to all Julbe(Muslims) of Nairaland. |

Omarbah: The song you are looking for is right here, they are both sang by Aboubakar Babajo of Adamawa (the Cameroonian half) The name of the album is "Sey Tegal" Enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_aPoYJQ3Hc |

Omarbah: The song though admittedly is not really a traditional Fulani beat. We all know that traditional Fulani beats in my opinion sound sweeter. But yes, we are full-blooded West africans. Barka Da Sallah Omarbah, Eid Mubarak. |

Fulaman198: You are fufu eater. Accept your Bantuness. |
Re: Meet The Most Beautiful People On Earth- The Fulanis by Fulaman198(m): 8:21pm On Oct 05, 2014 |
axum: I do love that Fufu and eat it whenever I can (which is like once in 2 months), however we make it slightly differently we call it Tuwo Masara and Tuwo Shinkafa (at least that's what the Hausa call it). We Fulani eat mainly lacciri e haako, lacciri e maro, gawri e haako, lacciri e kossam, the list goes on and on. |

axum: Not going to take you insulting my fellow Fulani brother. I know that you Somalis fight amongst yourselves, but we Fulbe are united. (sorry no offence to other Somalis on Nairaland). Also there has been no traces of Ebola in Nigeria for over a month now. |
